Third spot has to be the aim

4-0 now with a rocket from Tiago

Could have been 6 or 7 had it not been for the Bilbao keeper

Decent win but I'm not completely satisfied with Falcao, he only scored three goals, should've had six tonight. Otherwise a win against a team in complete shambles right now.

I'm mostly happy for Diego Costa who's back again, should hopefully stay and help the team upfront. He's developed well over the past six months and I think he's finally ready to play here now.

arda is looking fresh this year. a lot fitter this year and he is showing glimpses of what he use to be when he had his breakthrough at galatasaray. what do you think zoric, are the atl madrid fans happy with his performance?

Arda's got a full pre-season behind him under Profe Ortega's watch. Atlético's fitness coach is very strict and Arda's done a tremendous job, just like the rest of Atlético's players this summer in order to be 100% ready for the new season and Simeone's demands.

The fans love Arda. They've loved him since day one. They recognized his qualities a long time ago but also like him because of his dedication. Arda, meanwhile have said himself that he's been given an eye opener in Spain when it comes to the football being practised. He's got a tough coach who'll always demand the maximum out of him and I think Arda likes that, especially if he's shown respect in return for his dedication but most importantly, if it shows on the pitch.

He's very important to Atlético.

will this team be strong enough to be in the top 4 in spain this year. i thought you guys were weakened after losing diego but it seem simeone is building a team more than counting on individual stars. but an injury to falcao would be deadly, dont know if adrian can keep his form from last year. i guess only time will tell, if you guys can be a bit more consistent the 4th spot may be in reach this year.
