Great goal from Salvio. The build-up was nice, and Salvio looked like a true #9 with the movement and the header.

Atleti leads 1-0 after 8 minutes.

Salvio with a header after a good assist from Gabi.

Yellow to Filipe. He will miss the next game due to suspension.

Felt like Atletico were playing for the draw towards the end. Thought it backfired when Manu found the back of the net, but he was slightly offside.

A game of two halfs; we started well, gave them the ball, kept getting the ball high up the pitch and combine our way to chances. We should've perhaps have had two goals before they ended up getting the equalizer. That itself was tough to take considering the counter attack we launched and lost the ball, just for them to take it back and equalize. Second half was not good though, we lacked intensity, an idea and didn't keep the ball well enough. The team was poor in terms of decisiveness during the second part, the backline struggled because they three out of four players were booked. Too much space was given to Navas and we've lost Filipe to a suspension, I suppose it's time for Sílvio at left-back because he's used to play there as well.

Well done to Salvio and Gabi for the first half. Salvio, I knew he'd do well when playing closer to goal because he's a solid finisher. Brilliant header, also, you have to give him credit because his overall play was good in the first half. Second though, just like the rest of our team, invisible. We should be happy with a point considering the circumstances (Diego, Falcao, Godín, Arda missing and the last 30 minutes which were horrible..) but you're never happy with just one point, it's just the way it is..

That just shows you how even things stand at the moment. We've played a tough set of fixtures lately, so now there's a few easier. However, the team still should've beaten Racing and Sporting. That's the main reason why we're not currently in the Champions League-spots.

Btw, we always seem to play away from home under Simeone, it's crazy really..seven out of eleven games have been on the road.
