Baraja taking the players on one of many journeys on Los Ángelels de San Rafael's golf courses.
Atlético have already played three games in pre-season thus far; we beat El Espinar 19-1 in the first game, then the boys went on to win 8-0 vs Gimnástica Segoviana who play in Segunda B. The third game was played in Alcalá and we beat them as well with 1-0 after Pedro scored the only goal of the game, set up by Salvio who's back from his injury. Tonight is the final preparation for next week's encounter versus Strømsgodset who won 3-0 last weekend. Atlético will be participating in a so called triangular
which'll be hosted by Granada on their stadium.
Beşiktaş will also feature and this is the schedule for the event;
- Granada CF vs Atlético de Madrid
- Beşiktaş JK vs Granada CF
- Atlético de Madrid vs Beşiktaş JK
Atlético have played two different systems in these two games; 4-4-2 and 4-3-3. Manzano have started with the former in all three games and then switched to a 4-3-3. We could possibly see some clues to a starting line-up for the first official game against the Norwegians next week.
