Atlético have performed best of all teams in Primera División the past month alongside Barcelona, we've picked up ten points along the way and the team just needs to continue for the remainder of the season, we can't lose points now.

Our record on Riazor has been nothing short of horrendous in the past ten years, though in the last three we've managed two wins which is good.

This'll be a good game for the boys to get their revenge for what happened last year in A Coruña, remember when we were absolutely horrendous during the first part of the season and Kun had to be taken off the pitch by Quique so he wouldn't do anything stupid? I hope he scores a couple because that loss was so unfair, especially with the way that referee was acting, giving everything to Depor and punishing Atlético for every single contact, not to mention the penalty in the 96th minute which won them the game.

Special game for Filipe as well, he's returning to Riazor for the first time.

Rubén Pérez will not be able to play for Deportivo tonight, he's got a clause which prevents him from doing so in his contract. This means they'll most likely start with Aythami as a pivote. He's never played in this position before, plus they've had some injuries and quite a few transfer rumours surrounding Guardado.

HT 0-0

We have more possession but still not much of activity in the last part of the pitch. Kun managed to rattle the bar with a wonderful long range effort. Unlucky not to score there.

Second yellow for Lopo. This could change the match.

Aupa Atleti !!!!

Yo me voy al Manzanares
al estadio Vicente Calderon
donde acuden a millares
los que gustan del futbol de emocion
Porque luchan como hermanos
defendiendo su colores
en un juego noble y sano
derrochando coraje y corazon
Atleti, Atleti, Atletico de Madrid...

Real =
Barca =

Aranzubia is deadly on corner kicks

We got the three points, now let's hope for Almería and Espanyol.

They will be tired this week because of EL and since the loss of Gonzalo they are leaking goals. Let us keep up the hope.
