Move Albania to another Confederation !

I think time has come to ask the FIFA to move Albania to another confederation zone... CONCACAF, CAF or OFC

like Australia who play in Asian zone or Israel, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan who play in Europe.

At least we could win something or going to the World Cup.

I think that won't be possible . Kazakhstan tried to go back to Asian confederation lately and they couldn't . It would become more expensive for FSHF to play matches , players would be tired and we would get less money from TV rights as we would play worthless teams ... Also this wouldn't benefit to stregth our NT.

Kind of hard when you're located in the heart of Europe.

Can you imagine going to Japan for a qualifier?

Why not? Lebanon can face this kind of situation going to Australia or Japan...

Even in Africa small federations like Swaziland or Lesotho located in South Africa or Comoros Islands or Seychelles can go play in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya or Egypt...

This is Albania's only chance to make a World Cup. I wouldn't say it is impossible since a bunch of teams in the Asia confederation move to Europe. So maybe UEFA would want to let go some of their dead weight. But, that's very unlikely.

Kosova shouldn't be wasting time with UEFA. They need to hit Asia.

Seriously put Albania instead of Uzbekistan and it's fine, you can easily go
to the World Cup

I'm sure other UEFA teams have tried. With most of them having a much better case than Albania will ever have

Probably won't be too bad for the NT but I think the club teams would pull out of the AFC as it probably won't be worth it. If teams like Skenderbeu Korce can't afford to travel to Ukraine(and have to take a bus) you think they can travel all the way out to god knows where for a CL match they'll get crushed in. Plus the reward money won't be worth it. The Superliga will probably get 2x worst...

Much more potential in trying to qualify for the European EL/CL and trying to get some prize $$. We are due for one squad making it.

But seriously, european teams always complain but i will show you one example a Preliminary round of an African Champions League game

1° De Agosto from Angola against Lioli FC from Lesotho... There is about 3500 km's between both countries and two small club with small budget and probably amateurs especially that team from Lesotho.. But they still played... So everything is possible in football, that's why it's magic ! But not in Albania.

UEFA already pressures Albania to set their standards higher. Asia will probably put more pressure. Don't forget, that teams in Asia would have to come to Albania. They're all going to be pissed traveling thousands of miles to play a game in a crappy environment and stadium. Opposed to Europe, where the trip will be faster to Albania, and you can be back home within a couple of hours.

I never understood why Cyprus chose to play in Europe? I remember watching one of their friendlies and the announcer say that Cyprus had the choice to play in Europe, Asia, or Africa due to their location and they chose Europe. WTF? Why choose the hardest road.

I agree with sending Albania to asia btw

Cyprus chose to play in Europe because for European countries it's not a matter of what's easiest, it's a matter of being European. Clearly Albania is an Asian country.
