National Team Tactics/Formations

Made this thread to discuss how the team should be built in the future.

I noticed in the Slovenia game, neither Basha nor Kace had that much space as the #10 Attacking midfielder, because that space was really crowded.

#10s have pretty much died in the last 5 years, because of lack of space.

But when Salihi came on, Rama who was marked the whole game, drifted in from the inside the left in the space that the #10 left, and acted really well like a playmaker, because he was free from his markers.

I think this would be our best formation. Sadiku is good with his feet (I think), so like a lot center backs he could act as a more defensive right back, while Lenjani acts as the more attacking full back. When Lenjani bombs forward, Sadiku, Cana, Mavraj could form a back 3.

The midfield is modeled after Juve. 1 deep lying playmaker, and 2 box to box.

While the wingers could drift in and out, and confuse the defences.

as long as de biazi is in charge the formation won't change and we will still be playing bulku, dalku until they are 34 or 35 and still play 4-4-2 formation with salihi

Based on the last two games :

- RB : Dallku showed again his limits. Should never been called up ... except in case of emergency.
- Lila should never play in the left side. The two goals conceeded against Iceland came from his side. He is decent on the right back and that's the only place where he can bring us something. For the LB, I like Vangjeli. Even Lenjani is correct. Hysaj needs to improve a bit.
- Roshi's place is at best the bench. FSV Frankfurt coach understood that before us !
- Bulku's time is over. Abrashi deserves a starting spot.
- In booth two last game, we missed some creativity in the midfield. Meha or Gjasula can bring that creativ touch.
- Striker ... the problematic position ! Cani and Salihi are out of form. Januzi is not a "killer". Kapllani is "old fashionned". The current best solution is Armando Sadiku.
Why not trying to get Atdhe Nuhiu ?! But even him, he is not known for having a good scoring ratio ...

The starting 11 should be something like this :

My Team against Switzerland. Plaku and Balaj could be interesting, because Plaku is good with the Ball but has not a Killerinstinct, which a Striker should have.
Abrashi and Kace is at the Moment our best Central Midfield, Basha is not in Form. Dalku and Lila sucked, so i would like to see Hysaj on the right side. Agolli was not bad in the last matches.

IMO we must play with Basha in midfield, he's our best overall CM. So either with Kace and Abrashi or with both of them. Upfront is the problem, with 1 striker Bogdani at a young age would've been perfect but now we'e not got any striker that can take that huge responsibility. So Januzi for me has got the advantage on that position atm. Perhaps Balaj or Mehmeti could join him if they continue their good form.

We must find a way to activate L.Sadiku aswell.

Balaj sucks guys. If you think Cani is bad you wont like Balaj who's a shittier version of Cani. As impossible as that might sound he really is.

Berisha
???--Sadiku-Mavraj-Lenjani?
Gashi-Abrashi-Basha/Kace-Rama
???
???

This is quite a good formation, only problem is the attacker. The same goes for Black Eagle's formation.

I did that joke before.

Nice steal.

If there's one thing successful stand up comedians hate, it's noobs stealing their jokes.

This reminds me of episode Louie C.K vs Dane Cook. Where Dane stole materials from Louie and Louie never forgot about it and tried to ruin his rep for it. Haha

If you're not sure what to do with the ball, just pop it in the net and we'll discuss your options afterwards

Dane Cook is a comedian?

At the touch of her lips it grew long and swollen. He gasped as she squeezed and pulled expertly. It was the best balloon giraffe he'd seen.

After watching Roma these past 10-11 games when they only conceded only 2 goals it became clear that 4-3-3 is the formation to go.

In 4-4-2, and 4-2-3-1, there are only 2 defensive midfielders. While in 4-3-3 there are 3 and this offers amazing defensive protection.

If Januzaj comes I'm thinking he should play up front, but not as a conventional Centre Forward, but as a false nine like Totti.

Totti played this role spectacularly, and got 6 assists, Roma would have kept their streak if he didn't get injured.

Januzaj could drop deeper, link play, score, assist. Goals will come from Januzaj, wingers, late runs from midfield, and Meha free kicks.

----------------Januzaj------------------------
Rama-----------------------------------Meha
----------Basha--------Abrashi------------------
----------------Kace---------------------------
Lenjani - Mavraj (Sadiku) - Cana (Mustafi) - Xhaka
---------------Berisha------------------------

The technical ability in that field would be off the charts. Our offensive players could actually maintain the ball in the opponent's third for more than 3 seconds.
