Iceland vs. Albania (Away)

Here's the summary

Style

They play long ball 4-4-2.

Strengths

Their forwards. They are stacked up front. Sigurdsson also plays as a left midfielder, but he's dangerous as hell.

They are also very physical, as we know. They don't have any very tall players, but they're all at 6"1 in every position.

Direct free kicks. Sigurdsson is a world class free kick taker. He scored winner last time.

Weaknesses and Beating Them

Midfield. Not because their midfielders are bad players. They're decent. But because they play 4-4-2, if we play 4-2-3-1, with good technical midfielders we can overcome them.

Slovenia played 4-2-3-1 with technical players and they came out on top.

I think Cana and Mavraj are experienced enough to take care of the forwards, but it's set pieces that worry me.

Their defence is also very vari kari.

Out of Slovenia and Iceland away games, I think we can take 1 point away from Slovenia and 3 from Iceland.

It all depends on how De Biasi approaches both games.

Sigurdsson was out suspended in their defeat last time out vs. Slovenia, they'll obviously be very glad to have him back against Albania.

We already lost this game. Thanks for the phuckin jinx, OwnerOfNoobs. You are such a retard

A mod needs to delete this asap.

I will make the match threads until I lose. One game at a time.

Nah, when I create the thread, it means Bulku won't be a starter anymore.

we need wins not draws.

If we win against slovenia, you can erase this thread. but a draw/loss and this stays up.

For real, regardless, owner should have known better. These are textbook jinx threads. You always do it one game at a time.

And also, if Albania draws, I'm still creating the next one because Albania got 4 points out of 6, which is still pretty damn good.

Dude ok calm down you can delete it. I just wanted to posted some comments on how Iceland played, for myself as well, to have some sort of background info on the opponent, because it makes the game more enjoyable.

Sorry if that messed with your voodoo gogoli xhinde shit . You can always delete it.

Or maybe I can open the Armenia thread, and if I win, and you tie/lose Slovenia, we keep this.

Berisha
Dallku-Cana-Teli-Lila(i know it's not his position but better Hysaj/Arapi)

Gashi-Abrashi-Basha-Rama

Salihi-Januzi

Hoping Gashi gets clearance.

I like Kace but needs to eat some more meat. Those Iceland players are big and physical.

More Kosovars because those from Albania(except Kace) are clearly anti-footballers.

I see people excited to see Hysaj next game, but he won't start trust me. I've seen him, he's nothing special, and too slow. As LedZep showed above Lila will 99% start at leftback.

And yeah Kosovars are the only decent players, except for Kace. Do you know why?

Because none of them have ever played in Albania. Our championship only produce losers. Kace happened to be one of very few immigrants from Albania.

Kace needs to start 100%. Just because they are big it doesn't mean we have to put up big players too. We need TECHNICAL players. Players who can keep the ball on the ground.

We played with physical players last time and we lost. We only need a few physical players to defend set pieces.

Slovenia destroyed Iceland at home playing technically. Iceland has amazing forwards, but their midfield is lacking.

What we need to do is play 3 central midfielders, in a 4-5-1/4-1-4-1. That way their 2 central forwards will have be between the 4 defenders, and 3 central midfielders, and be isolated from their own midfield.

We also need Januzi up front. (Is he called up?). He is the only player who can hold up the ball.

I'd rather have a forward who can hold up the ball, and not score. Then one who scores once in every 3 months in China and can't hold up play.

OwnerOfNoobs' phaggot ass had to jinx our Slovenia game. You never make a game thread so early like you did. One at a time always. I really hope this guy gets hit by a bus.

When you start with Kace you need to have someone to cover up for him. Like Pirlo had Gattuso, Zidane with makalele/davids etc. Kace is great to have for several reasons but he shouldnt be accounted on the defensive work. It wont bring out his best game. He has great vision and touch but to excel with that we need good wingers and we need players taking more runs forward. You could see several times how he couldnt find anyone to pass that was moving forward. Its like they refused to run if they didnt have the ball at their feet.

I don't have a sig.

Guys, not to be pessimistic, but forget qualification.
Actually for the eights second places available it won't count our eventual points against Cyprus but only those against Iceland and Switzerland, and since we have to win also against Cyprus to reach second place, it means that we have to win with all of them to have some chance to qualify.
Do you really think we can do it when we play with Bulku çani Roshi and Teli?
Our revolution has started way to late to make the difference for this qualifications that are only a passageway, so better concentrate for EC when we will have better players.
