WQE: Albania Vs. Norway | 22/03/13

The game is a several months away. We should see some new faces and I think Di Biasi should take the risk of giving some new faces starters' minutes.

Some players that I want to see out of the team:
Vila
Dallku
Bullku
Sahili

I would like to see Vangjeli start and Lila benched. Meha should start in place of Vila. Curri should start as centerback, and Cana should move up to midfield in replace Bullku.

------Cani--Sadiku
Roshi--Kukeli---Meha
------------Cana
Agolli-Curri-Mavraj-Lila
--------Berisha

That lineup is realistic and better than what Albania usually plays. It just looks weak at the sidebacks. Not sure if Albania will have a new call-up or if Vangelli will come back healthy.

Who are some realistic players that Albania can call up for this match?

Besart Berisha, Azemi, and Vangelli come to mind.

This game is a long way away and a lot of things can change such as player form and injuries but as it stands and knowing DB prefers 442 i would go this

Berisha
Lila-Curri-Mavraj-Vangjeli
Roshi-Cana-Kukeli-Meha
?-Cani

By March Sadiku will probably be playing in a bigger league(probably Italy or Germany) so hopefully he improves overall by then.

Hopefully we'll see Kace, Basha, Azemi and some others get called up, wouldn't that be great?

----------Cani
Roshi--Basha--Meha
-------Kace-Cana
Vangjelli-Mavraj-Curri-Lila
--------Ujkani/Berisha

I like the lineups you guys posted. The next game is a long way, so hopefully some of the younger guys like Roshi, Balaj, Sadiku get some more club experience. Berisha, Basha, Azemi, Kace(never seen him play tbh) possibly Brahimi are some potential new faces.

To that list i would also add Kuro from Panionios who is a left back and is a regular in their team. Definetely should get called up instead of someone like Veliu. What's the situation with Basha? I doubt he has any chances of playing for us.

If only we sorted out this Basha situation it would really sort out our midfield issue, by Albanian standards he world class and even by italian standards he's very good. Would probably be our best player after Cana.

Explain why though....

I would put
Bakaj
Kace
Vajushi - Cana - Kukeli - Meha
Vangjeli - Mavraj - Curri - Lila
Berisha

Curri is in OK form. Played against Fenerbahce, held up for 60 mins till they got raped. Fenerbahce is stronger than any team we're facing though.

On the wings I paired Meha with Lila, because Meha is not so good defensively and Lila is decent. Meha can take more risks, and provide quality crosses.

Vajushi with Vangjeli are both attack minded, however I placed Cana on that side so he'd help them with covering.

Cana in midfield because we all saw how much our game changed against Cameroon when he came on.

Kace as an attacking mid. I know this weird, but the reason I put him there, is because he's good at QUICK PASSES and HOLDING up the ball. We give the ball to him, he holds it up, makes the passes in tight spaces.
We need more influence on the offensive zone, and this guy can help with that.

Bakaj already played as top striker in Chernomorets. Has 5 goals in 15 games. He can also play as a false nine, and drop back to link up with the midfield when needed, so in reality sometimes the formation even becomes 4-6-0. which is good because our midfield is weak.

Ofcourse our midfield will be weak when you leave out Basha who is a main player for Torino.
Roshi in my opinion deserves to start as we need that speed and trickery on the wing.
Albania are not Spain to play with a false nine, even though it is a great idea we need a finisher which for me would be Sadiku.
Kace can pass well but he is a defensive mid so that is really where he belongs.
I won't argue with Vajushi starting as I really like him as a player.
Cana is better then Curri and with Basha and Kace in mid Cana can drop to centre back as him and Mavraj have a good understanding.

Dude Basha is never playing for this NT. Trust me Fifa is pretty strict about this shit.

Kace is not really a defensive midfielder per se. He just has good distribution, but defensive midfielders have strong physiques, which he doesn't have. What we really need is someone who won't lose the ball in the offensive zone. He doesn't lose the ball easily, and can make quick short passes.

Of course Cana is better than Curri, but we need him in midfield. Basha won't be here.

Bakaj plays often as a central striker and is way better than Sadiku.

Sadiku has gone 4 games in the second swiss division without scoring a goal from open play. just 1 penalty which shows nothing about a strikers form.

play bakaj 90 minutes and hes GUARANTEED to give you at least 1 goal or assist.

I agree with you bro Bakaj is probably the best Albanian player at the moment but I wouldn't want us to play without a out and out foward. Bakaj could play as a second stariker to Sadiku or Balaj.

your formation doesnt work. first of all roshi is a winger not an attacking midfielder. if u meant 4-3-3, none of cana, lila, kukeli have the ability to distribute ball properly and bakaj sucks on the wing

We need to guard our right side well, they have riise, and that hannover winger. Id put Lila as a defensive RB, and hysaj as attacking lb, that way wed be lopsided. hopefully kace can come in.

Curri hasnt convinced me so far, he doesnt know how to press properly, id only play him as dm or lb.

How about this, if none of our strikers are in form, how about Migen Memelli? 14 goals in 14 games. Kategoria is on the same level as Swiss 2nd division, and he has a higher goals/gamer ratio than Sadiku.

I mean only if he keeps this form up. strikers are all about form, the line between a shitty game and great game is very thin for a striker.

The one who's the most on form should play, doesnt matter age or whatever. If he keeps this form, then I think he should start against Norway IF none of our other strikers have shown anything worthy.

The thing is that Norway won;t just let him walk to the goal like Bylis did, so he can score 3 goals in a game. He has scored 5 goals in the last 2 games and both games were shady to say the least.
