The New Generation....

assuming the last remaining players of the "communist generation" retire soon ((hopefully) Skela 34, Lala 35, Bogdani 34, Duro 33, Beqaj 35)...the next generation has begun to come in (too slowly for my taste) atm it seems that Lila, and Ujkani have cemented themselves in the first team, Bakaj has made a few appearances, and has been regarded as Skela's replacement, Vila also seems promising and looks back on track after his horrible campaign in Croatia, and then you have Shkodrani's favorite player in Zeqiri who is highly regarded by many, along with some other talents? .......anyways was curious to what everybody's opinion, (as I cant comfortably comment as I dont follow the Superliga much) on this new group of players coming in to hopefully replace the last of the "communist generation"...in their prime will they be better than their predecessors? will they as a team have better international results? what is everybody's overall opinion on the new group of players soon to come in

Veliu, Roshi, Bala, Sukaj, Vajushi, Morina, Hyka, Cikalleshi are the top talents in Albania.

I agree with Veliu Roshi Bala Vajushi. Hyka ill give it a pass ( having failed at all foreign clubs does not make him a talent) As far as Sukaj i think he is just a regular Superliga player. Players like Vila, Lilaj, Frasheri, Mocka who are all under 20 are the ones you can consider talents.

I still don't know about Sukaj, I just have a hunch he'd be another Salihi, don't forget Salihi failed in Turkey too and came back to Superliga and then moved to Austria, same can happen to Sukaj and Bala.

For me Sukaj is better than Salihi tbh.

When Salihi went to Greece he was the top scorer of the league. When he came back he signed with Tirana and was the top goal scorer two years in a row before he made the move to SV Ried.

Same for Sukaj, he is scoring every game in Albania, and salihi didnt even play a single match in greece bro thats why he came back.

I still think Sukaj is a better player/goalscorer.

Vila and Lilaj are 23.

Anyway IMO Bakaj, Hyka, Zeqiri, Roshi(needs to dominate league more), Veliu(maybe, think he's another Vrapi), Vajushi(maybe), Bala(maybe in future), Vila(maybe, needs to grow a pair and work because he has skill) are/might be good enough from superliga, at least skill wise because mentality wise probably not.

Cant think of anyone else. Gabon Lika maybe?

PS Sukaj is trash.

lol Gabon Lika, guy's a legend

Sukaj isn't trash, I'm telling you, he's gonna be better than Salihi club-wise.

Don't forget he's only 23 man.

Sukaj already flopped in 3 different continents(Asia, Europe, Africa). He should try his luck somewhere in America.

Even in superliga look at some of the chances and mistakes he makes. Just an amateur player but for the u21 he did pretty good.

Alright, in a couple years you'll see...

Salihi flopped too, never played a match in Greece ( I just looked up his stats ), at least Sukaj played in his teams.

Not everyone can play out of their comfort zone. These new generations don't want to work hard and want things as easy as possible. In Albania things are easy for them and they don't get paid bad at all.

Just look at Salihi, he went abroad(to Ried) where he got paid just as much as he would in Albania. well, he was ambitious enough to take the risk and it paid off. These other guys don't share that mentality I'm afraid.

I don't know about that but I'm talking about how they play, which I watched both, Sukaj is better for me.

Some of the goals Sukaj scores and creates Salihi can dream of.

Alright, I'll write a summary of all the new players we'll be seeing in the future.

Elis Bakaj is definetely Skela's replacement, he has the creativity that Skela had when he was young, he is fast and has power, one thing he doesn't have is the defensive ability, soon as he loses the ball he doesn't run back and get it, that's something he has to improve. But other than that, he's only 23 and already abroad to a good club. He's gonna be "shtylla" e kombetares for years to come in my opinion.

Lala's replacement, we don't know who's gonna replace the old captain, he has a style which noone seems to have right now, he's the boss on the field, he cuts people's legs open, runs and gets the ball, out muscles players even thou he's 5ft tall. I can't think of any player right now that plays like that, except for Cana, he can take back his role as a destroyer like Lala played last game against Belarus and Curri can partner with Teli (I think he's actually good) or your Vlonjat boy Veliu can play there. So for this role, Cana will handle it I think.

On the right/left flank, it's either Muzaka who's 26 and still in Albania or it's Vajushi if he doesn't majorly flop. He's a second striker kind of player who likes to run with the ball and makes chances, he's good at counter attack and has been Vllaznia's key player in those kinds of goals.

Bogdani's replacement is of course Edgar Cani no doubt about it, if he develops into a good player in the Serie A/B he'll get called up finally, he's still 21 so theres time. Another player who can be a striker in the future alongside Salihi or even take his spot is Roshi, I like him but as LedZep keeps saying he needs to make a name for himself, Cikalleshi is another option but he couldn't even play with Skenderbeu cause he was "lazy" they said.

Our "new" lineup after these Euros would be like this I imagine, if Kuze calls up Superliga players of course.

Ujkani
Lila Curri Teli Vangjeli
Cana
Vajushi Bakaj Agolli
Salihi Cani

lol that lineup is just a wish, we're probably gonna be still playing Duro and Skela who don't wanna retire.

Bakaj is nothing like Skela.. Skela is very intelligent player while Bakaj is just a headless chicken who has a strong shot. He makes more bad passes than good ones and disappears a lot.

And that lineup blows IMHO.

Na Bakaj is a genius man, if you see all the goals he set up for Dinamo...

And that lineup would destroy Brazil man...Vajushi alone would do damage lol

Better players? Comeon... Zeqiri zvlen me kene waterboy ahahha

You don't even know the history of your own players. Salihi never flopped, he just didn't get a chance and decided to come back where he still continued his scoring record.

Yeah, but doesn't mean much. No Albanian has the positioning of this guy. Salihi is the Albanian Pippo Inzaghi. I can name 1000 players who are more technically gifted than Super Pippo, but I can't think of any who will score more important goals or be more hardworking. Same goes for Salihi. Just look at his goal against Belarus. He wasn't supposed to even be in there, but yet there he was like he was expecting the defender to screw up.

At the touch of her lips it grew long and swollen. He gasped as she squeezed and pulled expertly. It was the best balloon giraffe he'd seen.
