Taqi Oil, in cooperation with AC Milan, organized last June in Tirana the "Milan Junior Camp". It was the first time ever that it was holded in Albania. Even Daniele Massaro went to Albania in order to coach the Albanian talents.

Tirana, March 26th, 2008 - The most titled club in the world has chosen Tirana to hold its Milan Junior Camp, namely a football stage meant for boys and girls between 8 and 16 years old who want to learn the secrets of the game directly from trainers selected by the A.C. Milan youth sector.
The Milan Junior Camp will be held from 30th June to 4th July 2008 in three different locations: most of the activities will take place between the “Selman Stermasi” Stadium and the FC Dinamo Tirana Stadium and training centre, while the final event will take place at “Qemal Stafa” stadium.
This sport and fun experience for youngsters will consist in a week of technical and athletic training, beside precious tactical teachings. Thanks to the effort of the sponsors involved, the Milan Junior Camp in Tirana will be completely free of charge for the attending kids.
For over a century, A.C. Milan has been synonymous with football, entertainment, excitement, and success: the "Rossoneri" team leads the world in the number of international trophies it can boast and for the second year in a row has been ranked by FIFA the first football club in the world. The inaugural press conference saw the special attendance of Mr. Daniele Massaro, a former champion with Milan and the national Italian football team, now the Public Relations Director, of Mrs. Francesca Pietra, A.C. Milan Responsible for Milan Junior Camp, e Mrs. Francesca Scarpa, A.C. Milan Marketing Manager, who both flew in from Italy for this important occasion.
"We are here today in Albania because we strongly believe in this country's potential in the world of football. The young people who will be attending the Milan Junior Camp will get the opportunity to train using the methods of A.C. Milan's official technical staff," stated Daniele Massaro. "If we note some kids with particular talent during the event, we will follow them carefully, offering them the opportunity to join the big family of the Rossoneri. I’m particularly glad that we will now be also in Albania, where Italian Serie A, is the most followed European league.” concluded the footballer, who was Milan's highest goal scorer in the 1994 Champions League.

"There's no selection of any kind. We want to give all kids the opportunity to wear the colours of A.C. Milan," confirmed Mr. Marco Schembri, GM of World Camp, the Italian company that organized the event. The best three kids selected at the Milan Junior Camp in Tirana will be invited to come to Milan and show off their talent.
