A swing towards the extremes?
I'm not an expert in geopolitics, but i do watch the TV and read the news, and i've noticed that in recent time that there seems to have been a swing in political elections around the world. i mean in the Middle East you have these Islamic conservative parties taking power(ie Egypt, Palestine), while in the western countries u have these right-wing conservative parties taking power(ie Canada, Poland, Germany), and left-wing socialist parties taking power in South America(ie Bolivia, Chile).
so i was just wondering, is there a reason why we now have blocks of countries which are located in the same regions as each other around the world with the same form of governments? is it a coincidence, political peer pressure, solidarity or something which I havenít mentioned yet?
