We used to be ruled by Syria, so yeah pretty much noone was satisfied with our government unless their daddies/brothers/relatives worked and benefitted from the puppet regime.
Nowadays, nothing much has changed. Ya still have nepotism, disenchanted people, and the youth are fleeing coz there are no jobs in Lebanon...if there are, the pay sucks.
On the other hand, alot of people involved in social NGO's are starting to make life look a little optimistic with foreign sponsors (western) etc. At least this time in order to set up, they don't really need the blessing of our "big sister".
But in general, with the high taxes, hunger, homeless, unemployment, correuption, bankruptcy....Lebanese government has to pay attention to their people, and to the country's infrastructure rather than keeping the people on edge over the Mehlis report, and sanctions against Syria.
Just my two cents.
