france policies.

let's go. i sweare i will not be mad

so. if someone knows something about french policies and have some critizising to tell. feel free.

the big debat in france actually is the next presidential elections.

the left party is a little embarassed to find out a strong leader. françois hollande is not charismatic enough.

as for the right party. seems sarkozy will be in balance with de villepin.

i don't think that the front national would be a trouble like it has been the last election. i think the french will not make the same mistake.

I strictly have nothing to say but I want that comes out.

...what's with Chirac, by the way? Heard he had to go to the hospital, but I don't know anything more about it.

If the left can actually come forth with a united front, they won't run the risk of cannibalizing themselves and leaving the UPR and the FN to be the first two past the post.

Last election, if I remember correctly, there were some 10-odd parties from the left/center left running and the parliamentary right and far right didn't represent half that.

well, it's what is cool with french democracy. we don't know exactly seems the communication is made more by his men, than by the doctors.
by the way i don't think he would get much votes.

I would chose De Villepen over him anyday

yes. completly agree. the prob is that he is the only "serious" politician which talk straight. i'm afraid that many will fall for his liberal views. IMO, it will be the return to the "moral thought".

i'm not surprised by what it's said in this article. that's more than possible that the attacks in paris have been fomented by the algerian secret service. and it's very well known that france is supporting the algerian government over the islamic fondamentalist party.
but it has been other attacks which was terrorist attacks. i think at the one "rue des rosiers" which targeted jude french people.

I hope, of course, that Sárkózy Miklós will get the job. He is the best man for this, as hungarian I bet the relations between france and hungary will be at their best then he is a foreigner himself, why can he be racist? for putting to jail some traffiquants or terrorists?

Btw, his name is Sárközy. Your version is better than Sarkosy though
I don't think the relations will get better. It's been traditionally bad for the last 100 years and there are lots of other prior things for both countries than to start romantic approach

Sorry for the offtopic
