I love my job

Do you guys work? What do you do? Are you entrepreneurs? What does a good job consist of in your opinion?

I myself love my job. I've been here for 1 and a half year, it's the longest I've spent at one workplace (that says a lot about my past decisions, ain't it). Tomorrow I'm having a wage negotiation with my boss but I'm already pretty satisfied with what I make.

What about you guys? Are you middle aged? Do you have to work? Does your job suck or is it mediocre next to awesome? Would you deserve far better or worse?

Without Jesus, a hopeless end. With him, an endless hope.

what I love about my job is that I can work as long as I want, whenever I want and how ever intense I want. or take days / weeks off as much as I want and whenever I want. freedom galore. plus it's my absolute dream job too, I enjoy every minute of it. always was since I was age 22. on top of it I make more cash than I would have ever dreamt about. so, all in all, it's safe to say, next to awesome is just finoman szólva to describe it. I don't deserve better because there isn't.

I wish everyone to have that same luck.

Szovkap, if I'm not mistaken you're a cabbie, check this out in San Diego Uber-drivers make on average $1000 a week and it's practically assured if one has a new car, it's a hot business to be right now, cabbies will never go out of style.

As for me, I'm an ex-inside salesperson of internet services and other service intangibles that the crazy internet and America morally corrupted, I'm on drugs like a lot of good struggling people. Gosh darn America morally bankrupts millions of good people because America has no good culture, this country sucks because of the friggin' bad culture it's truly the worst aspect of America.

I've had my own businesses. Never really had a boss... I'm always THMFIC

Last few years I've pretty much done nothing because I've been sick. Lived on government money.

Getting free money has it's perks but every mother fvcker thinks they own you. "Yo Tex, Can you fix my laptop? I'll bring it round now". I say I'm buzi! They say "doing what? You don't work!". Really pisses me off!

My first job was working for cigányok on Liba fair! Helter Skelter. Earned Ł2.50 an hour. Paid no tax obvs.

Then I was mobilephone salesman. Then I managed various buisnesses for a very wealthy Saudi buisnesman. Then I did some bits for RTL KLUB.

The law currently is really tricky here. With my doctor reading the forum also, I'm gonna shut up now about the jövő and the jelen.

I have a cousin who is a translator. She helped Vass Ádám, Stieber, Fekete and the rest at the time. Even Lothar!!! One time she arranged magyar mese for Gera Zoli. She went to work at Bentexico airport when they did trips to Budapest. After that stopped she was store manager in Derby City Centre! See folks, the highs you can hit working with magyar foci

I wanted to be a cabbie when I was 16-17 but every cabbie told me no. People puke and spunk in the cab and it's really horrible! Not long ago a cabbie said that was said to have less compitetion!

The best way to Taxi is regulars with no meter. You agree the price cash in hand. My Uncle used to do that with executives!

You asked for my age, Dandelion. I'm 38! Here is a recent photo of me with my cousin Lisa!

I got a raise!!

I often think the crucial times at work are not when you've got a lot of stuff to do but when you negotiate your salary and your position, your future at the firm.

i work for a notary.
basic 9 to 5 job, but pretty important job, doing almost all the startup for most cases
have around 25 days off on a year
earning 600 euro more salary each month(+ some bonuses think earn around 800 more) than i did 6/7 years ago, get a raise of a 100 euro a year at the moment.
have flexible hours (can start later or earlier), or go home when my daughter is sick,
when my daughter was released from hospital after her heart surgery i asked for some unpaid leave (around 3 weeks to finally be with her, when i got back and got my pay check of that month my boss gave me paid leave),
we get treated to fancy restaurants once or twice a year with the whole office, or little gifts ranging from free lunch, or a bottle of gin when i have to look after our office dog (means only putting food in the bowl)

so its nice to work somewhere you are appriciated for what you do (hard work) but also get satisfaction from what i do, because make up marriage contracts, helping people buying their house, helping them with the financial side, or helping them when a family member has deceased and they need help involving their documents, or helping them selling their house.

a lot of work and reading (regulations, laws, ...) but i like it

the only negative is maybe not a lot of vacation days (put in mind i always have a least one unused vaction day i have to take over to the next year)

I'm in industrial project management / sales.

~70 days off means I only work from Monday till Thursday.

That is a very sweet and cushy job Dandeer and your English is flawless and tokeletes, in sales I've run the gamut from mortgage sales, IT computer managed services and internet sales, solar canvassing, just about any inside sales job in California. I'm looking for a clean break from sales and marketing however or go back to Magyarorszag and help the economy there by paying taxes.

Yeah me too, if I ever switch or get fired (unlikely), I'll do something different like English/Spanish supervisor at a multinational, supporting projects or customer service (I'd worked in CS before).

20 years of sales and marketing is enough for anybody. Here's maybe a tip, if you want to expand your money without working for it 24 hours 7 days and you have saved earnings, check out the Magyar stock market, it is very hot right now.

I actually think it's smoking hot probably the best performing market in Europe the last 4 years, it's easy work-free money if you know what to pick, all the wealthy and rich folks are in it milking it like a cash-cow.
