Holiday destinations 2007

Anyone going anywhere nice this year? or have been anywhere nice? I think Judit went to Croatia Máté is going soon. hungaria will go to Balaton
I was talking to my friend in India today and he was missing me so much he's begged me to go to India for 2-4 weeks to visit him I'm very worried. I think Hungary in September is too hot never mind India around this time could be a really cool trip though. He told me not to worry all Man Utd games are shown over there but I'm very worried about missing Hungarian NT games

I don't know yet, maybe a weekend back to Hungary. Don't really feel like going somewhere on a holiday.

Hungary in September and/or Oktober, but that's not really holiday, more like nagynéni's 75th birthday and some work related business, and of course watching some live magyarfoci.

might go to Portugal for a week or so in October, haven't been at the sea for 3 years now which is just a botrány.

planning a Brasil trip next year in march/april or october/november.

Békéscsaba for now. We will go for two days to the Balaton, my little sister is taking part in the Balaton-átúszás (she is awesome, as you know). I'm going to wait for her in Balatonboglár, as I can't swim.
Sziget Fesztivál in August.
Lanarkshire (Scotland) at the end of August, I'm crossing my finger for Vadócz to return to Motherwell so I may see him.

I was thinking about going for 2 weeks to Siofok, but that would just be the same as spending 2 weeks in Vlissingen here in Holland. Dutchies and Germans on a beach and everywhere you look

Come to Gyula. Lots to see and it is one of the most beautiful Hungarian cities in my biased opinion.

Well, roughly 100 km away. And it's close to Békéscsaba as well. But BCs is quite boring compared to Gyula.

on 11th August I'll fly to Manchester, and then staying in Derby for about 10 days. Then flying back, and one day later driving to Ausztria and Hungary.

NB1 and magyarfociválogatott I could watch to eternity even with hard sleeping pills in me vains.

It's difficult for us [our family], my mother has occasionally ventured forth the option of travelling north to Bendigo, but to be honest, it would compromise most of us in some way, shape or form. As to why, I won't go into it, private reasons.

For me personally, all I can think of of substance is a trip to the city to indulge in an occasion which is rare for me. Can't give any specifics, I haven't placed a great deal of thought into it, still it would be easy as there's lots of things to see and do.

Perhaps Iku Izakaya. It's a Japanese restaurant which excites me a great deal, especially for the architecture: sliding doors, diners kneeling on padded cushions, so on. In my head, I'd imagine the experience as stepping into Japan from Australia.

Also, sushi is my favourite food and this place would offer a greater variety than the local establishments do. Maki and nigiri I'm exposed to, and love; but I'm sure there's more forms out there.

Belongs on which team we draw in the Champions League Quali's

I don't actually go really on holiday for 2 weeks for example. I save the money to make the Anderlecht-away trips

Well it takes a while, but i lived there for 18 months so that helped. In all honesty the easiest way is to just duck into any shop/bar when it gets too much and grab a coke or something, especially seen as a coke costs about 30 pence!

the humidity is easier to handle than the dry heat we have in europe, at least in my opinion. I like it.

The last time i was at your ground was a boxing day a few years back and i think i am still thawing out! But i shall make every effort to go, but brighton is definately one i will be going to, even though its the worst ground i have ever been to, and i have watched a match at BVSC ground in Budapest!

Very true. Its often said that it is a different type of heat, and people think your crazy for saying that, but it is very true. 30 degrees in europe is worse than 40 in Thailand
