Macedonia are clearly group favourites, objectively speaking. That being said, I believe that if we play a solid good collective game, we can take them and beat them. And it's also key our players believe in themselves and that they can do it. Aaand for that to happen, the openning game at Liechtenstein should be key. A mixed team (with some starters and some substitutes) can easily beat the sh*t out of the Germans and get our crew ready to go to Skopje to try and shut everything down (and if we can take the win, even better).
Btw here's the correct schedule:

06.09.2018: Հայաստան-Լիխտենշտեյն
09.09.2018: ՆՀՀ Մակեդոնիա-Հայաստան
13.10.2018: Հայաստան-Ջիբրալթար
16.10.2018: Հայաստան-ՆՀՀ Մակեդոնիա
16.11.2018: Ջիբրալթար-Հայաստան
19.11.2018: Լիխտենշտեյն-Հայաստան

They have to at least come up with a draw at the away fixture. A loss effectively eliminates them given the weakness of the third and fourth seeds.

Yes. The hosts are always the first on the sheet.

I don't know about that. Sometimes, it's reversed. It goes: away team @ the home team's ground.

Idk about rules and sh*t. All I know is we play both October games at home and both November games away (ironically that's gonna be the easiest window). And I agree with MOMMO - we must tie in Macedonia and beat them at home.
Also hope Gael finds regular time at a decent league by then.

well.. @ = at... as in... x @ y means x is playing AT the home of y. @... at. it's pretty straightforward.

I know that they usually write it y - x... which means x is @ y. not sure why this was difficult to understand.

It wasn't. Simply just the "@s" are unnecessary.

Not sure where you're from... but if you're in the United States, that's how all of the sports schedules are lined up... Los Angeles Lakers @ Chicago Bulls... it's pretty clear that the Los Angeles Lakers are playing AT the Chicago Bulls. no confusion there at all. It's the same across all professional sports here. Detroit Red Wings @ Montreal Canadians... Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots. I think it's pretty standard and straight forward. I don't know how else to break it down to you.

Of course. I agree. That's an American sports thing. Been a lifelong Lakers fan. However, this is European football.

Did we really spend the first 14 posts here talking about the way the scheduling is written?

Really folks!

Any ways, hope we are able to muster up some offense against Gibraltar, who'll play 10 men behind the ball. Same with Liechtenstein.

Hopefully the parking of the bus by Gibraltar and Liechtenstein won't cause too many problems a la Malta back in 2014 qualifying.
