Arrow Armenia vs. Belarus (final test before WC qualifying begins)

I'm extra motivated and excited for this match on August 15... I'm actually traveling to Armenia for 3 weeks of August and will be at the stadium to witness this game in person

This is a very important friendly and I don't see Minasyan playing around too much as far as our lineup, we will field our absolute best and look to crush Belarus to start WC qualification with alot of momentum and confidence

also, looks like Hrazdan stadium won't be ready in time for this game, more and more it seems it will take place at Republican again.

with all that said, who is our starting line-up considering the amazing form most our guys are in? for me vs. Belarus...

................. Movsisyan ..............
Ghazaryan, Heno, Marcos, Ozbiliz
................ Artak Yedigaryan..........
Hayrapetyan, Aleksanyan, Mkoyan, Sarkis
................. Kasparov ...................

Artak Yedigaryan has really stepped it up lately, with Metallurg too...
Karlen Mkrtchyan has been out for a while so not sure about his form, Berezovsky can rest since he will miss game at Malta, Arzumanyan can come in as a sub, same with Sarkisov and a few others.

Kasparov will not play due to injury.

I am really excited that we may finally have a young viable option at goalkeeper.

Tigran Kandikjan (19) recently was signed by Pyunik. He was born and raised in Macedonia. He played on the Macedonian U17 &U19 teams. He moved to Yerevan less than a week ago.

He has the height and the skill set to be Roman's replacement for many years to come.

I think he should get an opportunity to play as well as Arsen Beglaryan (19) and Prazyan (22).

It is very interesting that the NT never called up Sergei Sukasyan (21) of the Russian first division.

A couple of options from France are Anthony Babikian- 25- Goalkeeper- Dijon (France) and Stephan Hambartsoumian (18) French 2nd division.

Im glad we have such up and comers, but a final preparation match before World Cup qual. campaign doesn't leave us much room for such tests I don't think... maybe one of those goalies will be invited as backup for Berezovsky

Beglaryan has been great in the two Euro games against Servette. He's the reason they didnt lose by 10 goals. I dont know, i know we need a new defender rather than Mkoyan... he didnt impress me in the Euro games... Khachaturyan needs a call up if Karlen is out

Agree with that lineup except for Mkoyan and Artak Yedigaryan. Arzu should get the start instead of Mkoyan. He's been garbage for Shirak these past two games. And I'd like to see Artur Yedigaryan in that position instead of his brother. Beglaryan and Prazyan are both tall and decent keepers. It's worth trying them out. And above all Khachaturyan should be called up, he's a regular for his club by the way.

We really need a couple of new stadiums. Hopefully if we make it to Brazil 2014, a few Armenians abroad would consider investing in a few decent stadiums.

The guy's been injured for a while and god knows what's happened to his form. Better for him not to rush and steadily recover so he can be fit in time for the World Cup qualifiers.

ya i watched that game, Belarus looked pretty good, real fast attacks... keeping in mind in Olympics main squad is Under-23, i expect them to bring a real solid team to Yerevan and really compete with us.

they are definitely a big step up from both Kazakhstan and Canada...

with that said, my prediction Armenia wins 2:1
(goals from Marcos & Ozbiliz)

I think Heno will score in this game. He hasn't scored in the last 3 games and he's long over due. This will be a real test for us. The team should be in good physical shape. Can't wait

Glad harutyunyan was called up. The other guys we call up to replace roman are at best average but i think he can be our next great keeper

Aside from Harutyunyan, we have plenty of decent keepers. Beglaryan, Prazyan, Kandikyan. Eduard Hovhannisyan from Ulis and Gor Elazyan from Impuls aren't bad choices either.

I love every aspect of these selections except the defense. Its a ****ing laughing stock at the moment. And when the hell is Andrey Khachatryan going to get called up? Mamedov?
