We shall see but anything less than a comfortable victory for Ireland would be viewed as a huge upset.

Listen, Portugal couldn't beat us at home, why do you think some Ireland is going to beat us. Ok maybe in Dublin, but not in our back yard.

But what about Turkey, Spain, Bosnia, Iran and Moldova??? They all managed comfortable wins against Armenia in Yerevan.

2 of the games were friendlies where half of our team was not in the lineup. With Spain there is no comment and Armenia is not the only team to loose big at home.Turkey beat us 2:0 but if you watch the match it was one of the ugliest footballs to watch and scoreline says nothing about the game.

So be patient for 4 more days and you will have your say then

Duff out of Armenia game
(UKPA) – 1 hour ago
Damien Duff has been ruled out of Ireland's European Championship qualifier in Armenia on Friday through injury.
The 31-year-old Fulham winger has withdrawn because of a calf problem picked up during Saturday's 2-2 Barclays Premier League draw at Fulham.
Duff, who has 84 senior international caps, will be assessed by his club and could yet join up with the squad for the home clash with Andorra next Tuesday evening.
He joins Blackburn midfielder Keith Andrews, who has a groin injury, on the sidelines for the start of the Republic's qualifying campaign.

thats good news
