The Official Basketball Thread

There is an ice hockey one so why not basketball

Anyways my favorite team is the Toronto Raptors, but I think that the final games will be played between the Boston Celtics and the Phoenix Suns.

Because Armenians need to play in special under 6 feet league to have some success. I palyed three years in the Shengavit sportschool in the beginning of 80-s, so I guess I am gonna be fan of this tread.

Had plenty bb action myself till i hurt my back.I was considered big by Armenian standards 6'2 265lb.In tournaments i would end up gaurding the biggest guys on other teams sometimes 6'6 or 6'8 guys.To be honest the taler guys had some limited adventage when it came to getting some rebounds but on offence i coud easily score by driving around them.Anyways i played many years for AGBU and a few for ayf and the church league.I miss playing sports a lot but my back doesn't allow it anymore.

Imagine if you are Roget Clements making 25 mil per year, and need to recover, who could blame you for taking HGH.

If hgh yould help my back i would take it because it would realy help my quality of life many ways.As for top notch atheletes who use it to further their edge this is a controvercial subject.I get cortozone shots periodicly for my back and this helps a lot for a short period of time. This is legal and prescribed by my doctor. The effect however is similar in some ways to taking hgh.It gets rid of the inflamation in my back allowing me to do stuff i couldnt otherwise do as well.Like hgh you cant take it all the time caus of side effect but it is safe and effective when used as prescribed.Hgh can also be used safely to enhance performance and to help heal. The harmfull side effects can be minimal if any if hgh is taken as prescribed by doctors and it is prescribed a lot for many different reasons in medicine. So here is a dilema we have somthing which can help everyone if not abused.I dont see why people including atheletes shouldnt use it as long as the doctor says its ok to do so.It is not cheating if everybody else does it.If used as prescribed the only real problem i see with hgh is comparing present day and future atheletes to their predisesors who never had this adventage, but then again there is somthing called progress and it isn't anything to be ashamed of.

I think the Raptors game was more intense today. Double OT to beat the hottest team in the NBA.
