how much longer does he have to wait for until he's allowed to play for our NT?

He first has to go back in time and get at least one Armenian parent.

Vrouir any chance you will fly in from Holland to Portugal? I know someone in Porto who can give us a place to stay. Anyone know where the game is going to be? I'm speculating that it maybe in Coimbra. Since it's not a huge stadium. Around 30000. It's about 40 min drive from Porto.

hahahahah

Kevork, he has to wait until this APL season is done, so in total he will have two years in the APL. At least that's what FFA said.

I find the whole reason for debate stupid. Let the guy try out a couple of matches, and if he's not good, then we won't play him. Simple as that. But what I would want to see the most is after his two years are done, he gets on our national team and then moves to another European club.

Actually No he does not need to...

If you go back and read news from ARMFOOTBALL.COM back in May 2007, The FFA said ''We have noticed his talents, and are looking forward in calling him up in the NT''.

The only requirement is the Following F.I.F.A. Law.

A player who is born in another country and wants, let's say in Pizelli's example, to play for our National Team needs to respect these two requirements:

- Have been living in Armenia and playing for an Armenian Club for a minimum of 2 years.

- Receive Armenian Citizenship before going on the pitch.

When this Article was posted back in May 2007, it said that Markos Pizelli already had 1 Year and 6 months completed.

So without being a Mathematical genius, we can all calculate that he had 6 months left, which means that somewhere in November 2007, Markos Piñeiro Pizelli should receive allowance to play for The Armenian National Team of Football.

The Citizenship issue is not really an issue, you all know how well connected Rubo is.

Markos turned 23 this past October

Everything is Possible...

I was just kidding about the Armenian parent. It would be how it would work if I were running the FFA though. But it seems that the Federation and most of you guys are fine with bringing in Brazilians and whatnot to our National Team, so I'm guessing Marcos will at some point join our NT. We can then hold a competition with our neighbours of "who can naturalize the biggest number of foreigners that are total strangers in their own country."

Hovo, I will not be going to Portugal at 99%. Don't think my heart can take that just yet..

We need to find a goalscorer (finisher), I don't care if he'll be from brazil, FC Hevan Angels or FC Satan, as far as he/she/it scores for us I'm very happy with him/her/it.
Otherwise we play good, create many goal chances, but can't finish even 1 out of 10...

I think if Markos joins our NT and performs greatly, we will face haters all over the world starting with our untalented neighbours.

Press is gonna be like ''Armenians need a boost from outsiders to win''

But I say it's bullshit, just look at the French National Team. 55% of their players, if not more, are African-Born Frenchmen who come from Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Congo, Zaire, Guinea, etc.

If Turkish NT has black guys...lol

So if we have one foreigner it's okay, as long as he really marry's an Armenian chick and changes he's name from Markos Pizelli to Mardiros Pizellian

LOL !!!!!!

WWWAAAYYY too early for thatp. Besides it's an away game. I've never had a dream for an away game. It also depends on how much hype builds leading to the match. If somehow we can get ALL our players at this match including maybe even Manu, then you never know.

Btw, regarding Markos, when does APL season finish anyway? You think maybe they'll call him up for any of the remaining qualifiers? Or will they wait for friendlies between end of Euro qualifying and beginning of World Cup qualifying to bring him up?

Ya bro it's true you said that I remember, you said ''You looked at the scoreboard and it said 3-0''

And the scary part in all this is you didn't specify it was 3-0 for who.

Basically what I'm trying to say is; Your a Psychic lloooll
