Armenia's New Coach (The Candidates)

As we know after Ian The Great Porterfield some1 has to take over the NT as the Head Coach.
At this moment Tom Jones is replaceing Ian, but will he be as Ian, maybe better or maybe not, he has some games in which he has to show that he's the right one.
But not everything goes as you want and that's why we need to start to thing (as the bacup plan) who can take over the NT if Tom...

The Candidates so far:

1) The "Head Coach" & Ian's apprentice Tom Jones:

2) Sergio Markarian (an Armenian who is internationaly very known)

3) Michael Der Zakarian (former NT player "one of my favorit players" now the Head Coach of FC Nantes)

4) Eduard Eranosian (an Armenian who is very known in Bulgaria and in former Yougoslavia)

5) Nikolay Kostov (Nikolov) from Bulgaria, FC Banant's new coach, if his team can continue to play as now and better, then he can be our 5th candidate

---------------------------------------------------------
Always in our hearts: Ian The Great Porterfield

---------------------------------------------------------------
Some new ideas ?

please let's give MICHEL DER ZAKARIAN a chance to coach our NT, this guy is all we need! he is a fighter and one of my childhood heroes haha
he is doing well at FC NANTES in L2 (they lead the table) although I am sure NANTES will let him go at the end of the season when they will be heading for L1.
second choice Sergio Markarian !

you never know, zakarian came in as their coach last year when they were still in ligue 1 so its possible they could let him stay. it depends how well they do. but at least hes getting good coaching experience right now.

either way, id wait till the end of euro qualifying before i start choosing a coach. jones is the closest guy there was to porterfield and thats what we should stick with for now.

2 more games to play and then we need to decide either to keep Tom Jones or to bring a new coach...

In my opinion even if we not gonna keep Tom Jones as the head coach of Armenian NT, then we need to keep him in the same role which he had during Ian the great's times...

i think we need someone who has international experience. Porterfield coached many countries, which is why he knew what he was doing with tactics etc. I also think that because Porterfield had coached Chelsea, it probably had a psychological effect on the players in a good way. I think the worst thing for us to do is get an Armenian coach especially if they don't know what they're doing. We should get a British coach who has coached internationally before

maybe, but I was thinking more of someone who has coached countries which are not that good, like the countries that Porterfield coached. There must be someone out there who has done that, probably someone that I've never heard of before.

I know bro, Hoddle & Keegan aren't that kind of coach who get out of their island for coaching jobs anyway lol, plus, they are "expensive" (at least 1 million dollar/year contracts).

yeah he's serbian, here is the info on him

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bora_Milutinovi%C4%87

ill summarize it a bit...

he is the only person in the world to have coached five different teams at the world cup: Mexico (1986), Costa Rica (1990), United States (1994), Nigeria (1998), and China (2002). He also took those first four teams to the first round of the world cup except China.

He was going to become Serbia-Montenegro NT coach in 2003, but instead decided to sign with Honduras national team but left them in the middle of world cup qualifying because of various reasons, and finally last year became Jamaica's coach. I have no idea what happened to him after that. Jamaica has a different coach now.

On November 9, 2007, following a string of six consecutive friendly defeats he was fired by Jamaican FF.

I'm still undecided if it's a good idea to bring Milutinovic or not, due to it can be both...

In my opinion Milutinovic is more like furure Artsakh NT type of coach (when he has the NT players around and he learn them what he wont and how they'll do that)...

He's more then just ready, the only question is if he is the RIGHT one to take over at this moment...
