Ian Porterfield

Do you think he is doing a good job with Armenia? I think we need to stop making this crappy coaches, and hire coaches like Guus Hiddink.

My friend, first of all you can't judge a coach with first few games with exception of Casoni. In addition you need to have good players under your disposal so you can have options and strategy. In our case we lack that, so we can't really blame Ian. I think he will bring us good physical game, that's one of the important things we don't have.

I like Ian and I think he's doing a good job. It takes time to transform a team that is shit. and thats what Armenia has been for a few years now. no coaches like Guus Hiddink are going to coach a team that is shit either.

Maybe, but I dont really see any improvment. Armenia-Finaland game we got really lucky. We only had like 2 chances. The only one that was doing a good job was the goally. Away at Finland we had nice chances, but we couldnt socre. I guesss its also the players. We have no confidence.

I would have liked to see him coaching today, when we actually have some talent in the midfield.

And what is your proposal that Ian will play and score for us, when our players can't???

To have a good coach like Guus Hiddink you HAVE TO HAVE good players, look at Russia, even with Hiddink they can't play that good, because they don't have starplayers like Holand, Germany etc...

He had intestinal cancer. He underwent successful surgery in Armenia and is recovering. No news since then, but we are all hoping for a speedy recovery and a return to full health.

we need to keep in mind that Kazakhstan is the greatest country in the world. All other countries are run by little girls.

i think if we lose any of the games against Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, only then I think they should think about replacing Ian Porterfield. It would be an embarassment if we lost to any of those countries.
