i say 2-0 to Finland... we won't score with our current midfield, unless the ball magically falls to Manu in a good position and just scores.

Well at any case our defenders must play more seriously because they are too passive.

i think the only way we will see something different is if the coach decides to change the players around and put at least 2 or 3 different players in midfield and defence, which we all know probably won't happen lol

First of all, we are going to freeze our asses of in that weather. So, I give it to Finland 2:0. I don't see a team there boys. One Manu, can't do much. One or two runs, but if there is no one to support him, we are shit out of luck.

Hayeri dem xax chka!!!

We definitely need Mkhitaryan instead of those Mkrtchyan/Nazaryan... Hamlet even with no practice would look better than those, furthermore, he has practice now in Iran. Besides, will be better if Manu could play as a left midfileder too.

yeah, Manu should play as a central or left midfield. I said that last time, but it never happened. Hopefully the coach would have realized that Manu is just standing around on his own with no one to support him and that he should be brought into the game by putting him in midfield. It would be better to have someone like Ara Hakopyan up front who is not as good as Manu, but is still decent to have up front.

But I have to say I think Romik Khachatryan is alright to have in midfield. I don't know about Melkonyan, i guess he is alright as well if those clubs want to sign him, i just haven't seen him play that much. I think its Tigranyan and Mkrtchyan, Nazaryan who need to be replaced. I think as well it would be better to have Mkhitaryan. It would be nice to see Zhora Hovannisyan get a call up, lol, because we need midfielders.

Zhora Hovhannisyan has no practice in Egaleo and really is in bad form, besides he'll never be called again coz FFA's boss has a conflict with his father Khoren. Hakobyan also plays seldom, Erzrumyan could be better. Khachatryan, Shahqeldyan, Melkonyan will play 99% in midfield, not sure if Mkhitaryan can join them, Melikyan can play as a midfielder too, and in defence instead of Melikyan can play Baghdasaryan, Alexanyan etc.

lol, i thought the whole point of his loan was to get play time at Egaleo, but yeah, i think it would be better to have Baghdasaryan in defence and Melikyan in midfield.

yes you need luck ... you had already luck in Yerevan, Finnish strikers missed some great chances to score. But with a good tactic it's possible to make it.

Cementarnica - Miravci 2:0 (Kostadinovski 40'-pen. Naumcevski 43')

Injuries hit Finnish midfield for Armenia game

November 8, 2006
HELSINKI, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Finland will be without experienced midfielders Jari Litmanen and Aki Riihilahti on Nov. 15 when they meet Armenia for a home game in European Championship qualifying.

Long-time national team captain Litmanen, 35, has a thigh injury and will also have ankle surgery. He is expected to be out until mid-December. Kaiserslautern's Riihilahti re-injured his calf muscle last weekend.

Tottenham's Teemu Tainio might also miss the group A game in Helsinki, a Finnish Football Association spokesman said.

Coach Roy Hodgson will announce his squad on Thursday.

After four games, Finland lie second behind Serbia in the group with eight points. Armenia have one point from three games.
