I don't think they were in for Volland. People on here have always said he's not very good.

We were never in for volland, Gotze was always gonna be a long shot I'm convinced that is still far from over something that's gonna drag all season to the point where eventually won't get him, Dembele does suck to lose out on

Götze announced today that he intends to stay with Bayern. He split with his agent just before the announcement too.

That's why I went in here in the first place, to check what the reaction is.

I don't know that he's really the type of player they need. He'd be a bit of a luxury signing imo. He'd be a good player, but they have other areas that need upgrading more for me. Depends on their budget.

If he plays like the last two seasons he is no use for any team...

Our major need in attack is a wide player with pace, Gotze doesn't fit a need but If he were to move it wouldn't be for a big price...id easily take him over the likes of Lallana, Coutinho, and Firmino, you should always look to upgrade your team

In other news Paul Joyce states that Dahoud is Klopps MF target over Zielenski

I don't think Goetze is close to being as good as Coutinho personally.

I also doubt that Monchengladbach would sell Dahoud the same summer they're already selling Xhaka.

Interesting that Dahoud has already caused interest abroad. Btw, I can just urge every manager to take a look at this list https://www.xtratime.org/forum/46-ger...sters-2-a.html. Some of those are of course unavailable but others should be easy targets for EPL teams.

Agreed does seem unlikely, not to mention they let nordveit go to on a freebie they literally have no Midfielders if Dahoud was let go, he would have to really push a move

Here come the Gotze rumors again, apparently Bayern had agreed to sell to us and apparently Gotze agreed personal terms with us also but he decided he didn't want the move

Far from over it seems

We need transfers darn it. LB back-up, a winger and a CAM is needed.

Seems like we are in for Pepe from Lille. Though Echo saying its bullshit.

Fekir talks are still going on. 15 m pound is the current number going around since its his final year but that price is bullshit. Anything between the 25-35 would be great though.

Coutinho is linked with a return to Liverpool, and of course I don't like him to comeback tbh

I was his critic way before the season he went to Barca but I also had and still have a soft spot for the guy. I would be open to have him back it the price is low but then again I don't see it happening. We don't have a player of his kind.

I dunno, it seems like there are some concerns about his health. He had an injury-free season though. He seems like the ideal fit for the team. Creative and hard worker.
