CL Matchday 6: Lille - Trabzonspor

Do or die time. There are so many possibilities as to who will continue in CL, who will fall to Europa, and who will be eliminated all together. We need to at least get a draw to solidify staying in some type of competition. I pray Inter can get a result for us against CSKA but their fans are extremely pessimistic.. We shouldn't leave anything to them.

Lille are a very good team. Hazard, Sow and Cole are all fantastic for them but they have been underperforming in the Champions League. I believe they will be extremely motivated for this one.

A lucky 0-1 win would be awesome before all Turkish teams are kicked out of Europe for non-existent proof.

Hope they win as well. It would be a shame to see them get kicked out, even though that 1 poster here is annoying as hell and I would love to barge in here and rub it in all year long if it were true. Having said that, I think that TS will get the win here. This is the biggest game they have played this year and should they go through they will have done what all of the other big 3 clubs did/try to do in multiple seasons.

I'd like to see Trabzonspor upset. I always love and sympathize the underdogs in most situations.

Come on Trabzon!! My heart is with Trabzon on this one! Manage to get a point here and hope for Inter to do the rest!

You'll win. You'll play to win. But whatever the result, you were always winners in my heart and champions. And you'll stay that way. GOD HELP YOU!

Why would you like to see TS upset? Didn't you used to support Bursa anyway?

I hope BJK and TS win their last games and raise our nation's co-ef points to 7.6, it would be awesome to keep the auto-CL spot.

Nah I agree with keeping Mierzejewski on the bench. Not that he's bad or anything but I don't think he's suitable in a line up with Colman and Zokora in central midfield. I guess he would pop into the left wing or just behind the striker Burak Yilmaz in the second half.

But thanks for the stream! Got it in English too!!

TS look like a lot of nervous puppets. Lots of misplaced passes already, not a good sign today.

Let's start from the fact, Mierzejewski has never been clearly a central midfielder. He always played better as a left midfielder, however as a winger he's also really creative, has a decent technique and that's why he sometimes was moved on that different position by the coaches in Polonia and National Team.

Btw., isn't he second best assistant of Super Lig?

Lille are tearing TS apart. They're so active in this match, I predict they will tire themselves out in the 60th minute.

Tolga Zengin, by far the best keeper in the CL so far.

Half time and it's goalless.

Lille were absolutely destroying Trabzon the entire half. However it looked clear that the French side were already exhausting themselves.

Altintop was laying on the ground for a while, don't know if he was faking it or not but he has been terrible today. Paulo Henrique would be a perfect footballer to play against Lille.

Had to feel for Tolga out there. He has to be on top of everything lol because of the dominant possession of Lille which has been leading to multiple attempts.
