STSL Week 1: Manisaspor - Trabzonspor

First matchday of this delayed season, and we play Manisaspor away from home. Should be interesting who Senol opts to play, as not all of those players will be available for the Inter match coming up. Also, our new transfers Vittek, Sapara, and Cech will amost certainly not be suited up for this one.

During the international break, we've had friendly wins over Orduspor and Rizespor, in which Henrique and Halil found the net quite a few times, so it should also be interesting to see who gets the start between those two and Burak.

Fanatik's Predicted lineup:

---------------Tolga------------
Serkan--Giray---Glowacki--Celutska
------Zokora-------Colman--------
Volkan Sen------------Adrian-----
-------Burak-----Paulo-----------------

I can't help but like that offensive lineup on paper, but I'll wait and see if the chemistry is there.

Maybe Volkan can learn to properly pass the ball at Trabzon.

J/k, if he doesn't think and act like a big shot like he did in Bursa, he'll be great for you guys. Will be very interesting to see how this one plays out.

I was hoping TS would get a new CM. Colman is not good enough for Trabzon

I have a feeling we will miss Jaja a lot from last year line up, of course it depends on Adrian's performance.
I think, Celutska, Pauala, Volkan will shine, no idea about the rest.
Colman, Colman, Colman. I really want him to do well, he can't really reach a decent level, so many wrong pass he deleivers streesses me out big time. We shouldn't use Mustafa, he isn't good enough.
We should look into getting rid off several guys like Glo, Lb Brozek, hopeless Alanzinho and serveral Turks...

It would be nice to win the title this year too, BTB.
I think this season will be the very first SIKEFREE season in Turkish Soccer history.
Good Luck to all clubs, even to FB.

Halil Altintop - Burak Yilmaz
Adrian Mierzejewski - Gustavo Colman - Didier Zokora - Volkan Sen
Ondrej Celustka - Giray Kaçar - Mustafa Yumlu - Serkan Balci
Tolga Zengin

Only four foreigners and seven aliens so far..

Adrian Mierzejewski's a very influential player, classy, skillful and composed.

^ Yeah, helps Burak score.

Also, what an abysmal defensive showing that was.

Manisa 0-1 Trabzon.

Adrian is class

Shame about the red. I'd rather finish a game 11 v 11, but we better play it safe and go for the 2nd goal anyways.

Great control and finish by Burak. Zokora has been solid and Colman is looking more and more like his old self. Volkan is shaky however and Halil has been invisible. Is Henrique on the bench? Hopefully he gets some time.

Now that you have 11 foreigners it's quite surprising to see so little play. I guess it's to do with the fact that Adrian, Zokora, Colman and Volkan will be starting every game.

Yeah I'm guessing management were taking the fatigue involved with playing games mid-week into account, but it will be interesting to see if Senol takes advantage of the possible roster lineups as he is notorious for playing favorites. Not to mention, we don't even know if some of these guys are good enough to win games for us yet.

Wow, letting a 10 man team equalise right at the end. Where the f*ck was Giray there?

We had the chances to end it, but we spent most of the 2nd half dicking around. Sh*tty start to the season.

1-1 full time.

Can potentially be a great start for Fenerbahce this season.

This team is going to break every single humiliating record held in Champions League.
