Winter Transfer: Mehmet Çakir

I think this guy also deserves a thread. He is a Gokdeniz kind of mid-fielder, very fast and powerful, has the capacity to score 7-10 goals and produce as many asists per season. Very, very good signing.

This one isn't coming to relax on the bench, I am telling you, he will contribute the team big time.
Bravo Gunes!!!!

Good player, but another attacker? Would be better if they invested in another center back, no?

Great signing, he's deserved to play for a big club for years and finally gets his chance.

This is the part I just don't get. Teo, Jaja and now the guy from Poland. Thats 3 strikers in 1 season. And the sad part is that a guy like Umut has been there for years. And thats just not for this club, but for the others as well. Guys make transfers like they are buying packets of gum and then just throwing it away.

Looks like he'll be getting his first taste of action in our friendly vs. Schalke. We're up 1-0 at HT and he was warming up on the sideline.

Well he only got around 7-8 minutes of playing time.

Btw, we won 3-0. Very comfortably, and without some key players (Selcuk, Colman, Jaja, Alanzinho)

Trabzon just seems to be doing everything right this year, transfers, tactics, philosophies etc.

Yup, organising friendlies between Werder and then Schalke. Meanwhile FB will most likely have a kick about with our A2 team. Wonder who's going to start the league in good shape.

They were all invited to the Antalya cup. Look at Tayfun Cora's goal today!
