Onur Kıvrak

Apparently this guy has been getting some praise for his performances, I haven't been watching any of Trabzon's matches so be nice to get some input

This thread turned into some sort of Onur dedication.

He's looking a decent keeper.

He was one of the keepers on the U-21 NT a while back, along with Sinan Bolat. Really glad to see both of them are being fully utilized.

Onur had a breakout game against you guys actually, in the very last game of the 07-08 season. He really should have been given more chances the following season, but he has been impressing ever since Senol Gunes took over. There are a few videos in the link Tolga posted.

He was in the last NT call-up as well. Hope he can stick it out with that team, but I wouldn't mind Sinan backing up Volkan either.

Wow. Onur was just unreal today. For a game that meant nothing to us statistically, he and a few others played their hearts out.

This guy is on another level with the form and level of performance hes been having.

Definitely with just five months of playing football... he was definitely the best keeper in the league by far!

Give him another year of the stuff he's putting out now, and I guarantee that European teams will be out on the lookout for him.

Fukkin faced liked 30 shots and saved almost all same against Eskisehir until we got that goal in the 90th minute. He's got crazy agility and he reads forwrads well, like what dribbles and where they're going to place their shots. Our NT is in good hands.

Man we can produce incredible goalkeepers but we can't produce a backline fit to lick the GK's boots

Makes sense.

Defences so bad that the goalkeepers constantly get a good work out.

I've been really impressed by this guy this season, not just in the Fenerbahçe game on Sunday but against Besiktas he was just as deterimed.

His handling is great, he's got amazing reflexes and he floats through the air like a panter. And most importantly unlike Volkan or Sinan (Standard) he doesn't seem to be a pransing pony.

Most Turkish Goalkeepers have the tendency to go all "look at me!" on you (Rüstü had a huge phase like this back in 2002, Volkan thinks he's a movie star, Sinan Bolat spends more time floating through the air when not needed then anyone, etc etc)

Great prospect for the future, I'd love to see this guy in the National Team.

By the end of next season he would probably be one of the best keepers of the world.
