Week 20: Trabzon v Manisa

Turkcell Super Lig, Week 20: Trabzon v Manisa
At the Huseyin Avni Aker Stadium, Trabzon
Date: 7th of February. 15:00 Turkish time.

For the five matches Senol Gunes has been in charge, they have won four and the lost match was against Fenerbahce. Things are temporarily looking up for the team. There is always a constant change in their line up as Senol is always trying to find out how to best utilize his footballers. I wouldn't say it's going too well, Trabzon did look a bit dismal against Diyarbakir last week.

But this team does seem more stable than they did earlier this season.

I don't know what to say much about Manisa. They've only won three times this season not including the default win against Ankaraspor. They recently gave Sezer Ozturk but they also brought in who I'll proudly call as the biggest retard of Turkish football, Ersen Martin, who previously played at Trabzon. He won't achieve much or even score I guess.

I predict that Trabzon will continue the trend of winning ugly.

Umut scored a great goal.. Man he is really on fire for Trabzon after his really shocking appearances last season.

Final score 3-0 Trabzon played real well. Umut, who didn't miss a thousand chances today looked decent scoring 2 goals. The fans were good too about 30,000 at Ataturk Olimpiyat

Yeah.

Trabzon played great, Umut is: And not to forget mentioning that under Senol Gunes, Trabzon has won six times and lost once to Fenerbahce in the league.

Trabzon may have won ugly a few times but statistically speaking, they are the best team in Turkey lately.

It's the Şenol Güneş factor.
