Summer Signing #5: Drago Gabriç

GABRİÇ'TE MUTLU SON!

Trabzonspor, uzun süredir renklerine katmaya çalıştığı Gabriç'te mutlu sona ulaştı !.. Bordo mavili yönetim, Hajduk Split ile kesin anlaşmaya vardı.

Gabriç'in transferini bitirmek için Hırvatistan’a giden Mali Sayman Mahmut Aksu ve İdari Genel Sekreter Metin Kazancıoğlu, Hajduk Split Kulübü yöneticileriyle masaya oturdular.

Yapılan görüşmenin ardından taraflar Gabriç’in bonservisi konusunda anlaştılar ve resmi imzaları attılar.

Şener, Gabriç'in yarın (cuma) Trabzon'a geleceğini ve bu transferin tüm camiaya hayırlı olmasını dilediklerini kaydetti.
---------------------------------------------------

Looks like we got this kid after all (2.5 million). Still young, and the Hajduk fans think highly of him.

Cup-locked for Europe though :rollani:

The difference is the Croatian guys are actually saying Gabric is a good, consistent player When we got Cale, all the negativity that was being thrown around gave me low expectations of the guy but hes been a pleasant surprise.

Gabric was an active member of the Croatian U-21 (even captained them I believe.) Hes gotten one or two senior call-ups but no caps thus far.

The Croatians still think that Cale is a bad footballer. This guy is quit highly rated by the fans...

I thought this transfer was dead? I wonder whereabouts he will play in midfield? Because Alanzinho, Yattara and Colman are all pretty quality.

That's quite amazing, his dad won the award 10 or so years before him. Some of the players on that list have gone on to be hugeish players. Srna, Pletikosa, Skoko...

As i understand his style is close Tuncay Sanlı...Though we've installed him as a left winger he is a box to box midfielder and can play at any side of midfield...The fact is i don't believe that we need 1 more midfielder...I will say the same thing even we got Robben...I'd rather want a veteran solid Rb like Geremi instead of a youngstar Midfielder...Zafer, Tjikuzu, Colman, Alan, Yattara, Ceyhun, Engin, Selçuk, Gabriç, Barış...We've built an amazing midfield...

Hayırlı olsun

This guy is a different kind ..... Just 23 years old. He is a lot better than Cale. He is even better than FB's new Brazilian on the left. Extremely fast, good crosses, capable of scoring, can play on both side and very motivated. I see why Hugo wanted him so badly. Very good signing:

I wonder if he'll play against Diyarbakir? Probably a late substitute.

Well, the whole team played bad collectively so it wasn't a fair match to judge him by. Nothing extraordinary from Drago today, but he looked aggressive. He should see regular minutes as he gets integrated into the team.

He had couple of excellent crosses from left and right. So I think he’ll be ok considering Cale didn’t have any since he arrived.

Gabric speaks fluent English I didn't know that. Maybe we should write good things about him so when he types himself on google he'd find his fans here :hopeful:
