Week 31: Kocaeli - Trabzon

The last four weeks are important for Trabzonspor because they still have the chance of reaching a champions league spot or more importantly, a championship. For now, they should focus on winning all their remaining games and keep the chase on until that last remaining match.

Kocaeli will be relegated if they lose on saturday and Eskisehir or IBB wins. They won't be relegated technically because they can still reach 35 points but their goal difference does not help their cause.

It would be extremely tough for them to avoid relegation given their current position, but this still shouldnt be an easy match for us.

Its a bit of a reach but in order for us to finish no.1 we basically need to win all of our games (including a game against FB in the last week), BJK would need to lose one game (possibly the GS game) and Sivas would have to lose one and draw one (GS game, and I.S.S who is fighting relegation?).

Yeah but look at the massive goal difference between Trabzon and the other two teams... They're gonna have to lose a lot more in order for you to become champions.

Realistically, and I am being honest here, I don't think BJK will lose four points with Sivas losing five and Trabzon getting the full 12. It's a very long shot if you ask me but hey, if you get the second spot I will be really pleased.

I thought in case of ties they look at the aggregate of the two matches played between the teams. So in the case of BJK and Trabzon, we drew them 0-0 in Avni Aker and 1-1 in Istanbul, so Trabzon would win. Is this wrong?

yes im afraid. After Sivas had finished fourth on the final game of last season, the rules were changed back to goal difference.

If teams were to tie with the same points then the first tie breaker is goal difference, then the number of goals scored then wins and so on... or that's the order that I remember it going as.

2-0 by the way. Going good for them. I predict that Trabzon have at least finish a runner up at this rate. I hate how football changes everyweek... :rollani:

Up 2-0, Sivas down 2-0. If Ankaraspor can steal some points from BJK, that would be great...

Ugh useless Ankaraspor let BJK run a train on them in the last 20 minutes. Oh well, some good results anyways. TS win, Sivas loss, EsEs win

Yes and Fener also beat Denizli. That means that BJK have yet to compete against Galatasaray and relegation fighting Denizlispor.
