Damn, I like Zafer a lot. I mean, he didn't do much at that tournament but he is pretty good player. His free kicks are great as well. I bravo you.

You'll win. You'll play to win. But whatever the result, you were always winners in my heart and champions. And you'll stay that way. GOD HELP YOU!

I can only have admiration for his team, everyone saw that things weren't right last year and they've improved on their weaknesses. Good job Trabzon, they will be a big big challenge for the championship this year.

I didn't want to start a new thread but I just found out that Trabzon are thinking of starting their own TV station, does anyone have more info on this?

Yeah finally we got him

He's a freekick speacialist and called as Rostock Diamond in Germany...He didn't played much last season but anyone who knows him points that he has a great potential..Btw we payed 800 euro for Yelen and Isaac is free...Isaac will get 320.000 Usd per year...I mean you don't need too spend much to get good players

T.S. tv will be on air in 3 to 6 months i guess...Saner Ayar( Show tv genel müdür&#252is a member of our Board...He's in charge of this issue and i'm sure he'll do great...Storm is coming, there's no other way inşallah...

He'll be at Gerede on thursday...

Trabzonspor Zafer Yelen ile anlaştı
Trabzonspor, uzun süredir transfer etmek istediği Almanya’nın Hansa Rostock takımının gurbetçi oyuncusu Zafer Yelen ile anlaşmaya vardı.
Asbaşkan Hayrettin Hacısalihoğlu, Zafer Yelen’in kulübüyle yaptıkları görüşmelerin olumlu sonuçlandırdıklarını belirterek, bu futbolcuyla 1 yılı opsiyonlu olmak üzere 4 yıllık sözleşme imzaladıklarını söyledi.
Hacısalihoğlu, Zafer Yelen’in yarın Trabzon’a gelmesini beklediklerini, futbolcunun takımın Gerede kampının bitmek üzere olması nedeniyle kampa gitmeyeceğini kaydetti.

Man how much money have you guys spent on transfers alone this year?

Ersun is going to have one hell of a job rotating All these players and keeping them happy with enough playing time. he's bought a whole new team, a full lineup and subs to go along with it

I also expect some of the youngsters Ersun picked up from second division teams to turn into monsters over the next few years.

His coaching abilities are a tad but suspect (100x better than Fatih Terim) but Ersun Yanal is by far the best judge of talent in Turkey.

He knew Arda was going to be a beast before Gala did. Selcuk Inan, Holosko, Caner, Ugur Inceman, Sener, Johana, Kalebane and many many many more.

He got all these guys for basically nothing. Who knows what type of beast Meduna would have turned out to be if he didn't have that heart problem.

It has gotten to a point where if Ersun isn't interested in a young Turkish talent that means the kid is going to be a bust. lol

Most of those players you mentioned are average players at best. And Hagi was the first one to have discovered Arda

Ok then let's keep on counting;

Okan Koç,Ahmet Hassan,Filip,Thomas,El Saka,Yusuf Şimşek,Bülent Akın,Skoko,Ali Tandoğan,Selçuk İnan,Uğur İnceman,Filip Holosko,Ufuk etc...They may look like average players when Yanal left them, but the fact is there's no star at Yanal teams...Any unit of team thinks about both defence and offence...While those players play at Yanal team they look like superstar but when they left the club (i mean system) then they look like ordinary players...

I fully believe Yanal and his scouting abilities...

nah he's using a fm scouting tool to find them

the line on arda was pretty ridiculous a blind man could see his talent at a young age. I do believe though Ersun helped him sort out his balance by playing him at right-back while he was at Manisa.

he's kind of like Lucescu in a way. He brought out the best in players like Victoria, Perez, Pancu, Giunti etc. But those guys were nobody's after.

Oglum I would love for you to go into the second division right now and find players as "average" as Selcuk Inan and buy them for peanuts.

I'd also love for you to hand pick a youngster who then gets sold from a no name team like Manisa to CSKA Moskova for 4 million.

Yani it is sooo easy to go to a utterly crap league and find a guy as average as Holosko and pick him up for peanuts as well. It is so damned easy infact that no other coach in Turkey is able to do this consistently. Yes not even those super human superior German coaches.

The fact these players are average or not in no way refutes the point that was being made.

Relativity confuses some people, I can see how it is a difficult concept to grasp. Paying 50k for a player in the second division who can be an "average" player in the TSL is better than paying 3 million for a slightly above average player. The job of any coach is to bring in value for the money being spent. Last I checked Ersun wasn't exactly coaching teams with a transfer budget of over 30 million for the past 10 years.

The point here is what an awesome eye for talent this guy has. Apparently a point some people missed.

What you'd expect? For him to sign Christiano Ronaldo before we're allowed to give him credit?

I always thought Luce to be pretty shitty at scouting young talent but awesome at getting the most of the players he has.

Luce as the tactical and technical coach with Ersun Yanal handling transfers and scouting.

They would take over the world

Nothing wrong with slight corrections to your claims. Doesn't mean people are missing the point.
You're obviously over the moon with Yanal using superlatives all over the place but having a good eye for talent alone will only make you a good scout.
I'll refrain from judgement until I see him finish his job with Trabzon.

Yanal does really have an eye for talent. No doubt about it. But I know his secret, it's his computer that does it all.

You'll win. You'll play to win. But whatever the result, you were always winners in my heart and champions. And you'll stay that way. GOD HELP YOU!

Never made a complaint about a slight correction with my claim. I.E. Arda. I had no clue Hagi was big on him, nor did I mention that in my response post.

Secondly nobody said having a good eye for talent will make Trabzon take off.
