Transfer No.11 & 12: Tony Sylva, Fatih Altundag

We've finally gotten experienced Senegalese keeper Tony Sylva. Hes 33 years old, 1.85 meters, and was transferred from French side Lille. He was also the keeper for Senegal in our WC2002 game against them.

Very cool video of him by trapzone: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=35963092

Oha be

Can you guys stop it already? You transfer a new player every week (we know they're all good since Ersun picked em)

Must be a very exciting time to be a T.S. fan :O)

Yea, and that might very easily backfire.

You'll win. You'll play to win. But whatever the result, you were always winners in my heart and champions. And you'll stay that way. GOD HELP YOU!

I think it will backfire... no matter who trabzon gets, or how strong their team is it always seems to backfire

I think it won't though, because of the Yanal factor. But I highly doubt that they can be tittle challengers.

They won't peak as high as they should, but this is the Turkish league, not Champions' League football here you need time to get experience and gel before you can do something.

Sivasspor is keeping the most of it's players, Fener and Galatasaray will still be strong. Besiktas isn't making much progress, and Kayserispor is decent. Outside of that, no teams should be able to worry Trabzonspor, whether they have time to adapt or not.

How about we see the team play a few times before making predictions?

He's a good experienced keeper, I guess you'll be getting rid of the train wreck known as Jefferson? ...or has he been gone for a while?

By the way, I hope this doesn't mean Tolga get's less playing time for you guys, all the clubs in Turkey need to raise a person to succeed after Volkan, because Volkan's going to peak eventually. I hope Sylva passes on experience and it benefits Tolga.

Jef will go...Actually club wants to get rid off him for 2 years!!!There are some rumours that he's in touch with Konya...Hope he'll go asap...

Tolga was not the right choice for NT while Serdar was out for me...It was just a compliment to T.S. fans thats all...Anyone in Trabzon believes thats Onur is much talented then Tolga..Onur is at his 20 and has a great future in front him...I won't be surprised if Yanal choses him as nr 1

Man, Volkan peaking or not is completely irrelevant at this stage. As long as he behaves like an idiot on the pitch, he will never reach his potential...

Anyways, here is how the league is going to finish:

1. Galatasaray/Fenerbahce
2. Fenerbahce/Galatasaray
3. Besiktas/Trabzonspor
4. Trabzonspor/Besiktas
5. Kayserispor/Sivasspor
6. Sivasspor/Kayserispor
