About the game:

It was definitely one of the most enjoyable to watch this season I was surprised to see Erdinc in the starting 11, while Stepanov was on the bench. He made a few costly mistakes, but Tolga played great in goal again, and Gaziantepspor couldnt finish. Celaleddin also started, but he'll probably retake his seat on the bench when Cagdas is fit.

We played so-so until the 10th minute when Ceyhun converted a rebound off of Umut's shot, and after that we were pretty much shit for the rest of the half. Gaziantepspor controlled the tempo of the game up until Ceyhun's second in the 57th min, but we never resorted to long-balling, which I liked. After that, Gokdeniz, Yattara, and Ceyhun ran amok. We mustve had 8-10 goal oppurtunities, but couldnt make use of them.

Ceyhun obviously played great, Yattara and Gokdeniz played well on the wings, but also, Huseyin was superb in midfield.

Finally a convincing win

Waya, what happened to ağdaş? I noticed he wasn't even on the bench but I haven't read anything.

Well done to Trabzon on their win

Incredible second goal. Looks like the Ceyhun show has taken its act to the Black Sea

Actually, he might have been one of the players that were sick during the week. Yattara brought something back with him from Guinea and, apparently, got some of his teammate sick. :undecide:

Really? I know a few of the players have gone down with colds and flu recently but ağdaş was one that I didn't read anything about being ill. Maybe things have caught up with him now.

I watched the replay of the match on LIGTV and the cohesion between Gokdeniz Ceyhun and Yattara was really a treat to watch. Trabzon has made some smart transfers over the winter break. The midfield is a little too attack orientated but if Ayman and Huseyin can pick up their work rate I think they can overcome this imbalance. But as it stands now, I think we will see Trabzon win a lot of matches against the Anadolu sides from here on out and finish in the top 6-7. Now if only they could get a goalscorer

Getting another goal scorer would be great for Trabzon. As for Umut Bulut I really have high hopes for this kid. I'm hoping he'll really flurish at T.S.

We all wish the best for T.S. but please leave the momentum at home before you play BJK.

Well I like BJK and Trabzonspor so my loyalties will be a little divided although I would probably have to root for Trabzonspor because they have had such a difficult time of it this season and I have felt sorry for them...soppy I know but....

I wouldnt worry about it, you guys are playing alot better than us right now. Then again, the team does try harder against the Istanbul clubs. Who knows..

Hopefully Besiktas wins so the title race can heat up some more
