The search for a new manager

With Halilhodzic leaving for family reasons, and the season now over, it's time for Trabzon to begin their search for a new manager..

The two names being thrown around are Mustafa Denizli as always, along with Mircea Lucescu..

I think Lucescu may come, he knows Turkey, but like I said, if Daum leaves, i mean, Fenerbahce or Trabzonspor, one is in Champions League, the other in UEFA cup, one has lots of money and is willing to spend in their centenerary, the other doesn't have that much money, I think Lucescu would opt for Fener, but who knows.

Yeah, Im skeptical about Luce coming to Trabzon..it seems like hes linked with any Turkish side thats in need of a manager. I can see him going to Fenerbahce though.

Still theres been rumours, and id love if he took over.

If you managed to get Lucescu to Trabzon, I would definitely see TS as serious title rivals. Hard to think of a better choice than him as manager...

If Luce had a choice between FB and Trabzon, it'd be FB for sure because he's made it crystal clear he wants to win the title with all three clubs (and become the only man to do so in the process)..

Are you lazy or something. Just tell them who he is

Uefa.com tells us that Lucescu has been rewarded with a two-year extention to his present contract at Shaktar

Trabzonspor rotayı Souness’e çevirdi

Vahid Halilhodziç'in yerine teknik direktör arayışlarını sürdüren Trabzonspor, şimdi de Graeme Souness'ın peşine düştü.

Can you at least provide a small summary in English when you post articles in a foreign language?

ok, srry sometimes forget some people cant read turkish.

Trabzonspor goes for Souness

In search of a replacement for Vahid Halilhodziç, have now going after Graeme Souness. Not being able to come to an agreement with Mircea Lucescu will take an offer to Souness

Trabzon first wanted Lucescu but he said "Lets talk after May 14 Championship game" so Trabzon is going after other managers. Now they are going after Souness and Frenchmen Santini. Souness is very intrested in this job and he could be come coach as soon as Monday.

The dutchmen Mos is also a possibilty.

Hollanda's Telegraaf Newspaper say Aad de Mos is very close to being manager of Trabzon. The news says he has to respond by today and if they agree he will sign a 3 year deal.

During this time Trabzonspor is very intrested in the Inter ballplayer Pierre Wome. Wome, hasnt been able to find to many chances to play at Inter so Trabzon has taken action. Germany's Werder Bremen is also intrested in buying the player.

Since that he's been getting sacked from every club he's been to within months (Werder Bremen, PSV, Standard Luik/Liege, Sporting Gijon, Urawa Red Diamonds, KV Mechelen again and a whole host of Middle Eastern clubs mainly cos of his big mouth which made him fall out with everyone.) joining the ranks of Gullit, Advocaat and Arie Haan as our biggest laughing stocks managerwise

Trabzonspor, talip olduğu İskoç teknik adam Graeme Souness'in transferinden vazgeçmek zorunda kaldı.

Graeme Sounnes'in boşta olmasına karşın Newcastle United Kulübü'nden sözleşme gereği yüksek bir ücret aldığı ortaya çıkınca bordo-mavili kulüp bu transferden vazgeçti
Trabzon has decided not to go for Souness after finding out that he still gets paid a high wage from Newcastle even though he doesnt work there anymore. That was in his contract so Trabzon has given up on him

Also they havent heard a positive response from Santini yet either

Big mouth? Quitting within months? sounds like he's a perfect fit for a turkish league coach
