Trabzonspor v Fenerbahçe

One needs the points for a championship, the other for a 3rd place finish and a place in the UEFA Cup. Meanwhile, it's just one hell of a fierce rivalry, but as if that wasn't enough..

As mentioned elsewhere by Jemster, Trabzon has the best home defensive record whilst Fener has the best away defensive record. At the same time, both teams have an attacking trio that score goals for fun..

May the best team win..

So then, that would make GS the third best team in Turkey, in your opinion?

I'm not accusing you directly Starcraft, but this brings up a interesting point...

If Tekke bags a few goals vs. FB this weekend, I have the feeling he'll be seen as a hero to the same GS fans that called him crap and wanted Sukur in the NT instead...

I'm more insterested in seeing how Fatih Akyel plays against his old team. He's always been an aggressive player, and I wonder if he will be out with a point to prove to the club and manager that let him go...

We already saw that with the "Yanal only cares about helping Fener" 'fans'.. We don't need a repeat to see how hypocritical they are, we already know

He's the type who'll suck up to win the heart of his club's fans, because he knows that they don't think highly of him.. So like he did at Fener when he tried to beat up Bulent Korkmaz and gave the Trabzon fans the finger, he'll probably pull some antics here against us to try and win over the Trabzon fans..

I am glad you did not accuse me for that, because I have never wanted Fatih Tekke not to play for the national team. I wanted Hakan and Fatih together upfront. Hakan for his areal ability and Fatih for goalscoring. And when the qualification starts there is no doubt in my mind that Fatih should and will start as the mainstriker for Turkey. He will be the man that will get us to the finals. Even this year with all the problems at Trabzonspor on and off the pitch alongside him being injured for so long too he still managed to bang in 18 goals and the there are still several games left. The man is a goalscoring phenomenon. And not to talk about last year. He scored more goals then I can count... So of course I ahve respect for him.

i think this is going to be a really tense match. as previously mentioned, one team is trying to get into uefa and the other is trying to become the champion. i'm expecting alot from our team though.

Dude, how are you not even embarrassed to mention any game that Fenerbahce lost? You guys lost 3 games against Fenerbahce, hence the humiliating score like 4-0, don't forget what happened in Ali Sami Yen the first half of the season. As far as Galatasaray fans go, they've got no respectable right to try to diss Fenerbahce fans.

My Trabzon friends; be afraid, be very very afraid. Expect the worst, it will make life easier if you lose by 2 goals because the champions are coming to tear you apart.
