Wolves have been taken over by a Chinese investment group. They've stated they not only want to get promoted but to have a strong Premier League team.

Once they get promoted I see them buying half the Portuguese league

Second automatic spot I think will go down to Derby/Aston Villa, don't really buy Cardiff competing all the way but they should make the playoffs certainly

Absolutely no bounce for Sunderland under Chris Coleman (3 wins in 10), they are lucky a lot of the teams in the bottom half are equally poor.

Long time since an update

There was a lot of drama yesterday in a clash between the top two as Wolves are one step closer to the Premier League after beating Cardiff who missed two penalty kicks in the dying minutes. There was also some drama surrounding Warnock and Santo too. Fulham is the only team with a realistic shot at automatic promotion but Villa do play Cardiff midweek and if they win they might sneak into the picture.

Playoff race as tight as always, probably down to 2 spots as Fulham and Villa are well ahead but the likes of Derby, Boro, Millwall, Bristol City, Sheffield United, Brentford and Preston within reach of each other. Sheffield United have really fell off since their hot start while Millwall are the surprise package of the season

At the bottom, Burton and Sunderland are cut adrift and in serious danger, 7 points from safety each and this is despite Sunderland picking up results recently against Derby and Leeds. I would say that final spot is down to Barnsley, Birmingham, Bolton and Reading, but Reading have had a bounce since hiring Paul Clement and Birmingham is in decent form too with Bolton heading the opposite direction

Wolves one win away from promotion, not that its in question but they have an 'easy' fixture list to close the season

Wolves promote to the Premier League thanks to Brentford's 94th minute equalizer against Fulham, if they beat Birmingham tomorrow they will be champions as well. Fulham's result also means Cardiff return to 2nd place after two late goals see them beat Norwich

Burton get a surprise victory against Derby but still very much in trouble, as well as Sunderland. Barnsley rescued a point at home to fellow strugglers Bolton which probably will not be enough for them.

The big news today is Sunderland's official relegation after a 2:1 loss to Burton (they had a 96th minute goal disallowed). That's back to back relegations for them and you have to worry about them, they are in poor financial state so its no guarantee we see them anywhere near the EPL in the near future (they should promote from League One, a club of their size)

Cardiff can jump back into 2nd place later today if they beat Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa keep their slim automatic promotion hopes alive but results really have to go their way. Middlesbrough in good shape to finish 5th while that last playoff spot is really up for grabs: Millwall (69), Derby (68), Brentford (68), Preston (67), Bristol (66), Sheffield Utd (66). Derby doing their traditional late season choke job, some game at Bristol who played a 5:5 draw with Hull City scoring the equalizer with the last kick of the match

At the bottom half, Birmingham City with a massive win at home to Sheffield United and they are one step closer to safety. Big win for Burton as well and next week they play Bolton. Barnsley probably have the toughest fixtures so they are in trouble

Wigan promoted from League 1 so they made a swift return

Cardiff lose their game in hand away to Derby but remain in 2nd, however Fulham are only one point back. Both have winnable fixtures to close the season, Cardiff go to Hull and host Reading while Fulham host Sunderland and go to Birmingham. Important win for Derby who return to the playoff spots too

Blackburn Rovers like Wigan promote straight back to the Championship

Cardiff manage to finish 2nd despite playing a scoreless draw with Reading at home after Fulham lost at Birmingham City. Quite the euphoric scenes in Cardiff with even Vincent Tan getting carried off the field by the fans

Playoff matchups:

Fulham vs. Derby County
Aston Villa vs. Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough jumped up to 5th with a last minute equalizer at Ipswich

Burton and Barnsley go down after being beat away from home, Burton had to go for the winner at Preston and conceded late when Bolton turned things around at Forest and scored two late goals to win it. Barnsley never really had a shot playing against a Derby team needing a result to secure playoffs

I worry for Burton after they spent there money on a striker who looks to be injured for the whole season. Can't see Millwall staying up.
Millwall surprised

Playoff final is between Fulham and Aston Villa. Fulham overcame a 1:0 deficit from the first leg to beat Derby 2:1 on aggregate and totally deserved over two legs, hammered Derby in the 2nd leg. Didn't watch much of Villa-Boro, Villa won 1:0 away and the 2nd leg ended in a scoreless draw, though happy to see a Pulis team stay down

If no other reporting existed on Trump/Russia, the fact that the FBI started a CI investigation to determine whether or not the sitting president of the US was either comprised by or an agent of Russia, it would be the biggest political story...ever.

Soros is very, very rich and funds every SJW-cause imaginable. Those are facts, not a conspiracy.

I agree with him that this was a total setup
