So who's gonna get promoted?

Fill me up on this.

Southampton had a superb start scoring goals for fun and still are on top.

Sam Allardyce is thereabouts too.

Then you have Boro (Emnes not scoring anymore ) and Cardiff once again.

You actually have quite biggish names at the top. No nothing side like Swansea near the top.

Reckon any smaller side could spring a surprise though?

As always go Peterborough with their we can score one more than you tactics and usual 4-3 wins

Lex Immers - Pace & power. Holland's #1 box to box player

Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

West Ham and Southampton have been dropping points recently which has made the race of the top two now a 4-team race, with Cardiff and Middlesbrough only two points behind. For the playoff race, its numerically between the teams from 5th place and 16th A lot can change really in this league where a good stretch of games can spring you up the table. Look at Derby, close to the relegation zone but three straight wins have now put them two points behind the playoffs

Also, don't count out teams like Leicester or Birmingham City yet. Leicester have underachieved but they can spend big money and Birmingham were distracted by the Europa League, plus they have games in hand. For Birmingham, I don't think they can earn promotion, but they will be in the playoff picture. Leeds are too inconsistent. I think Hull will eventually move down in the table, they have an inexperienced caretaker manager who got off to a good start but they have lost 2-3 in a row now

For the smaller clubs: Blackpool are once again around the playoff picture, Brighton got off to a hot start but cooled off, but they have a bright future under Poyet, most likely won't make the playoffs. Palace seems like a talented team

My prediction: West Ham will win the league, Southampton as runners-up. Cardiff always are in the top 6 but never make that push to earn promotion. Cardiff and Middlesbrough I think are certain playoff teams. Birmingham will recover and make the playoffs. I'll go with Reading for the final playoff spot, there is always at least one surprise (other serious contenders are Leeds and Leicester to me). I'll go with Middlesbrough for the playoff winners

West Ham, Southampton; Middlesbrough
subject to change in upcoming months

Any competent side could run away with the league quite comfortably, but the inconsistency is remarkable. My bet is Southampton and West Ham. I quite like Middlesbrough as they are more entertaining than the other two but they are displaying bottling tendencies already, and they have some unsavoury characters in their side.

Cardiff are serial chokers. alm:

The rest are typical mediocre riff-raff Championship garbage.

Leicester are so distinctly average in so many ways, it's not even funny.

If Carlsberg did forum signatures......

West ham will go up, other than that god knows, southampton are on the slide, i quite fancied middlesbrough, but there prone to losing a few in a row, cardiff wont be far away, actually think birmingham will come through and take 2nd, there consistent.

as for the play offs anyone can come through, blackpool look solid, hull and reading wont be far away, and hopefully derby too as we dont conceed goals anymore.

Not to mention leeds, palace, brighton and leicester all sniffing around.

Expect it too be close, with plenty still in with a shout even in the latter stages.

That was pretty good.

Surprisingly, not all Bosnians-Herzegovinians like Manchester City.

About time they got relegated tbh. They've been utterly shite for about 10 years now. Won't miss their crappy ground either which is located on no mans land miles away from the train station.

So yeah Cov, enjoy the cowsheds and brutal football in L1

They were utter shit for a similar time in the EPL before that

Blackpool have managed to sneak in the playoff places with couple of late wins. Can Holloway guide them to another promotion?

Still tough to tell but I'll go with Southampton, West Ham, and Cardiff going up, at least for right now.

I don't know if we will catch West ham to win the league, but Blackpool will certainly get at least the second automatic promotion place!
Currently the best team in the championship.

West Ham will run away with the Championship but with Southampton losing their form the race for second place is now open. I am tipping Birmingham now, they have taken full advantage out of all their games in hand

unfortunately my birmingham tip looks good, would much rather see blackpool or southampton go up, but brum just seem to win 1-0 every week
