Some nice clubs there, it will be refreshing to see any of them in EPL.

meh, anybody but Forest. I actually wouldn't mind Leicester, but hopefully they break Derby's record Even a team like Cardiff doesn't look too bad on paper and can win the playoff

But I'm almost certain any of these teams will be one and done in the EPL. Luckily for them though, there are still plenty of bad teams remaining in the EPL who didn't get relegated this season

CONGRATS TO NOTTS COUNTY FC FOR WINNING LEAGUE 2
and promotion to league 1

Notts County secured the League Two title following a convincing 5-0 win at relegated Darlington. The Magpies took the lead in the 33rd minute when Delroy Facey found Johnnie Jackson 12 yards out and his tame shot somehow went in under Darlington goalkeeper Nick Liversedge.

COME ON FOREST.

"John Robertson was a very unattractive young man. If, one day, I was feeling a bit off colour, I would sit next to him. I was bloody Errol Flynn compared to him, but give him a yard of grass and he was an artist. The Picasso of our game"

Forrest - Cardiff final by my reckoning. I really hope Forrest come back to where they belong. They deserve it 100%. Also great effort by Leicester and Blackpool, though I fear if Blackpool came up, they'd go straight back down again. Saying that, I'm quite fond of the rather slow but sharp witted Ian Holloway and would like to see him do well in the PL.

Blackpool - Leicester final by my reckoning then! :smileani: I really hope the Seasiders can make it up to the Premiershit and get in about all the vastly overpaid prima donnas that swan about up there thinking they are something special.

Absolutely no doubt Blackpool would get beat every week in the EPL but the money we would make would hugely strengthen the club and establish us as a top championship team for years after our season in the big hype league.

If we don't make it then good luck to Leicester

Blackpool beat Forest 2:1. Forest of late had poor away form but they are still in this tie.

I am also hoping for Blackpool - Leicester final.

Advantage Cardiff at halfway stage of play-off semi-final

Whittingham: Important strike

A stunning free-kick from Peter Whittingham ensured it is advantage Cardiff City at the halfway stage of their Championship play-off semi-final with Leicester.

It was a tight affair that ensued at the Walkers Stadium before Whittingham's perfectly executed free-kick 12 minutes from time, which caught Chris Weale unawares at his near post.

crazy match, especially the second half by Blackpool advance to the final by beating Forest 4:3 (6:4 on aggregate). Congrats to Blackpool, though I somewhat fear for them if they do go up

Cardiff have more fire-power up front and their attacking threat is very big. They got dozens of goal scorers and match winners in their team.

Cardiff 3-2 Blackpool

If Carlsberg did forum signatures......

Cardiff 2 - Blackpool 0

It was a good run for Blackpool, but i can;t see them beating a team like Cardiff, though I didn't expect them to beat Forest

Football League One Play-Offs Semi-Final 1st Leg
Swindon Town - 2
Charlton Athletic - 1

Swindon Town will have an advantage when the second leg of this League One play-off semi-final kicks off on Monday evening, but it should have been far greater.

League One play-off semi-final first leg game
Huddersfield Town 0::0 Millwall at the Galpharm Stadium

Millwall have lost out in the play-off semi-finals four times over the last 20 years and suffered the anguish of defeat in the final at Wembley against Scunthorpe last year, but they are clearly ready to dispense with their reputation as play-off fall-guys judging by this resolute display.
