EPL 04/03/2006 West Brom v Chelski

What a game in prospect, the champions come to town currently in premier spot this season too with a star studded line up. While the Baggies fresh from getting trounced 6-0 by Fulham away, and then whimpering to a 2-0 defeat v Boro at home, field the legends throughout their side too.
Well legends in their own lunchtimes...

If we do anything other thank get spanked badly in this game it'll be a moral victory.

I see Chelsea were so worried about this game, they had to get Lampard to feign an injury for England tonight so hes fresh for Saturday morning.

At least being on Prem plus, our humiliation will be limited

0-4 Chelsea.

H Chelsea
-A Birmingham
H Manchester Utd
-A Tottenham
H Liverpool

it will be so hard, and Quashie will miss all these matches while other 2 new guys seems that have difficulties in their start in premiership.
I didnt see nothing from Wallwork in last match, I dont know whats wrong with Robson that prefers him over Inamoto.
I wonder has Robson made the right transfers this season

I say that at least one of next 3 home matches will be a draw :undecide:

good greif, will we seriously get many points, if ANY, from those games?

We MUST win the Blues game plain and simple.

We played 4-5-1 to match Chelseas style, and it worked very well for us. Campbell up front alone was tasked with holding the ball up which he did a good job.

I thought the forst half was pretty even, and until Chelsea scored the first in the second half it deflated our spirits.

Mourinho yet again caused a lot of trouble, and even applauded the refs decision to send off Robben, which earned Perrin a touchline ban earlier this season, so it'll be interesting if it happens to him too! Hmmm I wont hold my breath for that to happen!

Wallwork made a bad challenge in the first half as both players were going for the ball , and Ronnie was just a bit late, he caught the Chelsea player, at which point at least 6 Chelsea players surrounded the ref and were hounding him to produce a red card, it was yellow.

Later in the second half when Chelsea were 1-0 up, Greening had the ball on our left wing, Robben made a challenge, which saw both feet leave the floor and he got nowhere near the ball, and took one of Greening feet. It was a shocking tackle and he was rightly RED carded IMO.

There was a lot of friction after that.

Campbell was definetly caught in the box and went over, which irrespective of if he meant it or not is a foul, and should be a pen. Kamara on teh other hand, went past two players in the box, and defiently dived, and should have been yellow carded for simulation.

2-1 defeat isnt that bad really against a team like Chelsea, shame they try and cheat so much. Must be getting ready for the Barca game

1st half Wallwork
