Worthy content with professional display

City boss Nigel Worthington said he was pleased to make it into round 3 of the Carling Cup with a "professional" display at Carrow Road against Bristol Rovers.

Norwich found it hard work against their League Two visitors at times, as they put men behind the ball in a bid to frustrate their Premiership opposition.

But a splendid long-range strike from Moroccan midfielder Youssef Safri was enough to see off the Pirates, leaving Worthy happy to win his first ever League Cup match with City.
