Norwich City v Aston Villa match thread

This will be another difficult game,
but every Prem game is a difficult game for us!

Worthy may stick with the midfield diamond he played against Spurs or he could change it to a flat midfield 4.

Personally I hope he changes it, so that it gives us more width as we are playing at home.
If this is the case, McVeigh would probably be recalled at the expense of Safri.

The lads are still searching for a first win of the season, and maybe it will come tomorrow.

I predict a 2-1 win for us, but bias is probably getting in the way of my judgement.

Norwich City 0-0 Aston Villa

Another game, a 2nd clean sheet, but another failure to find 3 points.

Worthy stuck with the midfield diamond, although I hoped he would change to a conventional flat four which would give us more width.
We were at home and needed to get a win, changing it would of made more sense imo!

Anyway, we didn't lose which was a positive obviously!

Apparently Greeno' was on good form again

and Fleming & Charlton were impressive in central defence, which probably tells the story of the majority of the game

From reports it was a dire match, Villa on top in the first half, then the Canaries edging the second half.

Aston Villa: Sorensen, De la Cruz, Mellberg, Delaney, Samuel, Solano (Davis 57), Hitzlsperger (Whittingham 78), McCann, Barry, Cole (Angel 57), Vassell.

it's not a bad point, Villa are extremely tough to break down, Nowrich should be looking at beating the lower sides to ensure safety in this division.

Huckerby and Bentley are fun to watch. Green was class as usual. Safri did ok, and Francis had a couple good cracks at goal. Doherty was a bit disappointing, how slow is this guy?

He'd be ok for coming on down a goal, I mean, he never loses in the air. Svennson injured?

Not that I know of, he was dropped after the Manchester United game IIRC, and hasn't started since.
