Worthy backing Greeno'

Norwich manager Nigel Worthington says keeper Robert Green would be up to the job if he was given an England start.

David James came under fire after the game with Austria and Worthington says Green could replace him, although Paul Robinson is ahead in the pecking order.

"I wouldn't have any qualms about putting Robert straight in," he told the Norwich Evening News.

"But there is a bit of procedure to these things. That's why I'd give Paul Robinson a try. He's the next in line."

I think Green is a very stern keeper'. He is one of my favourites in the Prem this season.

Apparently he is backing under fire David James,
but he can't exactly slate his international team-mate can he?
