Fitz Hall leaves for Crystal Palace

The official Crystal Palace site www.cpfc.co.uk today reported that Crystal Palace has signed the 23-year old Southampton central defender Fitz Hall for Ł1.5 million. Iain Dowie told the website that he was delighted with the signing, and said that the club has gotten a top-class player for years to come.

Hall also played for Dowie at his time in Oldham, and for his brother Bob Dowie's Chesham United before he signed for Oldham. He played 11 Premiership games for Southampton.
