Northern Ireland mini tour

The first team squad will travel to Northern Ireland for a week of their pre-season training. The trip will also include friendly matches against Irish League Premier Division sides Crusaders and Glentoran. The players will be in Northern Ireland between the 11th and 18th of July with the friendly against Crusaders on 14th and the Glentoran fixture on 17th. Tickets for the Crusaders' match will be available at the Seaview stadium in Belfast from 7pm-9pm, next Wednesday, June 30, 7pm-9pm next Friday, July 2 and from 10am-12noon next Saturday, July 3.Tickets are priced at Ł10 for seating and Ł8 for standing with concessions at Ł5. Kick-off is at 8pm.
The friendly is a testimonial for Crusaders midfielder Gavin Arthur and includes a Golden Oldies game before kick-off and a sponsored match at the half-time interval. Palace follow the Crusaders' match with a game against 21 times Irish Premier League Division champions and 2004 Irish Cup winners Glentoran. The Belfast club's Northern Ireland international Andy Smith will be a good early test for the Palace defence as he is a prolific scorer for the club. The match will take place at the Oval, Belfast, kick-off 3pm.

Yeah, Dowie took his previous team (Oldham) over there for pre season last year.
A slight worry is that these games are being played in the middle of the marching season.Hopefully our fans can steer clear of any trouble.
