West Brom manager Gary Megson has revealed that several of his
transfer targets are currently in action at Euro 2004.
Megson has already signed Riccardo Scimeca, club-record buy Martin
Albrechtsen and Birmingham centre-back Darren Purse.
The Baggies boss confirmed there were also other irons in the fire,
although he remained tight-lipped over their identity.
"We're interested in some players who are actually at Euro 2004 and
whose managers are at the tournament," Megson told the club's
"But although we might want to get business done and get it done
quickly, that's not always possible because June is the easiest time
for players and coaches to take holidays.
