Hammers win Reo-Coker race

Reo-Coker is an England Under-21 international
West Ham manager have won the race to sign midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker from Wimbledon.

The 19-year-old Dons captain has attracted interest from Crystal Palace, Leicester, Portsmouth, Tottenham and Cardiff this season.

But the England Under-21 international has agreed personal terms with the Hammers and will undergo a medical at Upton Park on Wednesday.

His agent Tony Finnigan said: "We have agreed personal terms."

He added: "And he will put pen to paper on Wednesday.

"Once West Ham came in there was only one place he was going to go.

"The nice thing for Hammers fans is that he really wants to wear the shirt."

Dons forward Adam Nowland is also expected to sign for West Ham after a fee was agreed for both players with the club's administrators.

I'm really disappointed we didn't go in for him.
No instead we sign Kinsella!

Well I'd have preferred NRC.

I haven't seen him yet as he hasn't played.
But he hasn't set Villa alight with his performances, and indeed why are they letting him go?

I have seen NRC play a few times this season, and he looks a very good midfielder, just what the Baggies are looking for in fact, not Kinsella. Also I dont think it will be long before Adam Nowlands goes as well as he looks another good prospect.

But then look at how Kinsella did for Charlton which justified Villa in coughing up the money to buy him. And I'm sure at WBA he'll reshow his form
