Luton out of administration
Luton Town's administrative receiver Barry Ward has been given permission to sell the club, thus removing it from administration.
Ward was given the go ahead to sell the Second Division club to interested parties by Birmingham's civil justice court.
The leading candidate to purchase The Hatters is a consortium led by former club secretary Bill Tomlins.
Judge Alastair Norris QC who presided over the court case stated: "In my judgement the time has come for the court to confirm that the administrative receiver must take hard decisions in the real world.
"The time has come for the receiver to consider vague aspirations unsubstantiated by hard evidence as past."
Ward is thought to favour the Sports Management bid (led by Tomlins), although a second consortium are also interested in the Kenilworth Road outfit
