Robson takes over at Bradford

Bryan Robson has finally been installed as the new manager of Division One strugglers Bradford City.
The former Middlesbrough boss has been in talks with The Bantams for the past week but has now taken charge at Valley Parade.

Joining him in West Yorkshire is former Bolton Wanderers manager Colin Todd and the pair will have a big job on their hands turning things around.

Bradford are second to bottom of Division One and are four points from safety after a poor start to the season and are without a win in their last 12 league outings.

Robson was due to step into international management with Nigeria but that deal fell through at the last minute and he will now be turning his attentions to keeping Bradford in Division One.

Yeah, Hard job definitely for Robbo. He'll have absolutely nothing to work with at Bradford. Probably was the worst vacancy in football along with the Leeds poation, but hopefully he'll do it for the Bantams

In the Daily Mirror (in the Football 365 part in the footy pull-out every Monday) there has been a running joke of a "day-ticker" of how many days since Bryan Robson left 'boro

So The Mirror will finally have to end that now,
shame

He will need a lot of luck tho, and personally I cannot see him keeping Bradford in Division One.

I just dont see Robson as the sort of manager who can do anythign at a club like Bradford. His appeal is to attract players who respect his reputation as a player.

WRT Bradford bad appointment IMO, but time will tell.
