Phil Gulliver's loan spell has been extended for the play-offs.

Gulliver is a 20-year-old Middlesbrough central defender,
and the Cherries are lacking options in that postion at the moment.

Not COLU then?

Yes I admit the Cherries were very poor last season. They lacked confidence and missed Defoe.

But now they have their confidence back, and IF Bournemouth can get promoted we will then see who really is **** next season!

I am now going to Bury on Saturday!

I went to Dean Court and bought my coach ticket earlier today.

I have also bought my match ticket for the return leg on Tuesday.

It will be nose bleed territory for me as I have never been that far north before!

It will take about 5 hours each way on the coach but hopefully it will be worth it!

There are now 6 coaches leaving Dean Court for Gigg Lane tomorrow morning at 8 am (I am on the 4th coach).

Plus a number of Cherries fans will be going by train, or making their own way there.

There should be between 1,500 and 2,000 cherries fans at the match, so it should be a good atmosphere.

I am really excited, but the boring coach journey will calm me down.

Bury 0-0 Cherries

Not a classic.

The journey up wasn't too bad, and at least we didn't lose.

Bury had one chance, the best of the match infact, but they blew it!

Bury were down to 10 men just before halftime, but Bournemouth couldn't take advantage.

The lads created a couple of good chances but a draw will do.

Tuesday night will be very tense.
Probably decided by the first goal or maybe even penalties!

The atmosphere in the away end was great!

"southerners, southerners, southerners"

"your'e just a small town near Bolton, small town near Bolton"

"shall we sing a song for you?
shall we sing a, shall we sing a, shall we sing a song for you?"

"red army, red army, red army, red army"

The Bury fans were very quiet through-out.
I thought Gigg Lane would be packed with Bury fans, but there were many spare seats.

The pitch was awful and referee Jef Winter has a poor game really

I wasn't tired at all yesterday before, during, or even after the long journey,
but it has just kicked in now!

Tomorrow night will be a very tight, tense and nerve-jangling experience.

It would of been a lot easier if the Cherries had taken advantage of 10-man Bury and came back home with a 1-goal advantage.

But they never seem to do things the easy way.

Dean Court is sold-out and there should be a great atmosphere again (especially as its a night game this time)
